i want to learn

First you need RA2StrEdit.

Then you open the editor and load ra2md from the RA2 folder. This is the string table.

Click Edit, Insert String.

Type in a new ID such as Name:GAHYDRO.

Click OK.

Scroll down the list until you find Name:GAHYDRO.

In the Content window, add Hydrogen Power Plant.

Save.

ok i got it i hade to use the xcc string editer

 

know i have the same problem but i have already done all the thing ive been told for the last one but it isnt showing in the game

I'm not sure on this one, I've never tried making a new harvester, but it seems like I read somewhere that a flying harvester doesn't work.

Flying harvesters are valid and do work fine, ask genobreaker. If it's not showing, add it to the [VehicleTypes] list.

well i got it to show i put it aircraft and i needed to put it in the units. but know i cant get it to dock in the REFN i made for it.

Your heli miner needs to have Dock=HGAREFN.

Ah yes, now I remember what it was I read about a flying harvester way back when, it was that they look stupid having to take off and land again for each ore tile.

Maybe wouldn't look as bad if its JumpjetHeight was lower.

i tried this to, but my main problem was the automatic returning to ore refinery that did'nt worked well.

Any idea why this is?

The locomotor. Arg supposedly had a workaround for subterranean miners but he never shared it.

do u know what i have to do to make new weapons for tanks and infantry

Hmm i had thought while reading this, could you use the yuri UFO thing as a miner so it uses the leech beam thing to harvest tiberium and drop it off at a refinery that looks like the allied ore purifier without it landing?

Quick-ish I suppose. Weapons, warheads and projectiles all work in roughly the same manner except neither of the three need a name since you won't ever see it in the game anyhow.

That would be the case. Though be careful on spelling and casing, you can, and will, cause a weapons related crash.
