Gben 20 Posted December 21, 2008 Why is Yuriko able to strike down aircraft, and Natasha and Tanya not? It's a bit unfair. She has a long distance attack, and a group defend, and can take on all comers. At least anti-air should take a recharge being a unique attack. I think Tanya's alternative ability should be a jump forward time belt not a jump back... the equivalent of C&C3 jetpack. (I was going to say that tanya's ability should be a jetpack alal rocketeer.... but I like my forward timebelt more.) Tanya... or should I be calling her Lara DD? Natasha seems pretty strong and decent, apart from her lame swimming animation. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted December 22, 2008 Indeed, I took out two bases with two Yurikos. I lost the first one only because I was trying to finish off an Iron Curtain and ignoring the tanks that were defending it (had it down around 20% health when Yuriko died). The only thing that was any real hindrance was Soviet dreadnaughts launching their missiles in from long range. Her ability to switch targets, tossing multiple tanks into the air simultaneously which effectively puts them out of commission, is also overpowered. A forward jump for Tanya would be more useful, I like that idea. Currently, she is weak comparatively, her pistol range is short and C4 is obviously shorter. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 22, 2008 Yuriko is the best commando of the three little doubt. But like all commandos they die easily to mass anti infantry units. Share this post Link to post
twinblade123 0 Posted December 25, 2008 but yuriko cant do a one hit to a infantry and structures how about tanya vs. natasha vs. yuriko Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted December 25, 2008 but yuriko cant do a one hit to a infantry and structures how about tanya vs. natasha vs. yuriko Yuriko can do one-hits against infantry, with her secondary ability... multiple infantry even. She can't instantly raze buildings, but she destroys them so fast, that is hardly an issue. Natasha has the range, she could take Yuriko. Tanya does not and couldn't. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted December 26, 2008 my memory is that natasha takes 2 hits to kill yuriko... but that's from the empire mission where the emporer gets in a king oni. But I expect Natasha has the advantage here - be interesting to test... Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted December 28, 2008 I find that there are deliberate weakness for the female commandos. Natasha's firepower way too slow, Tanya's firepower must be near, Yuriko is ... well you win. Share this post Link to post
Castleman12 0 Posted January 28, 2009 Yuriko is very weak when left alone? You know you send her somewhere then you go and place a building then the next thing you know a conscript killed her? Share this post Link to post
alleylee 0 Posted March 19, 2009 lol, overall, yuriko is the best hero by far. tanya flops: she can't do with defense buildings (of soviets and empire's, the allies must use anti-infantry defenses), so she can't really get into the place and rack some havoc. Against tanks, she will die eventually... Even against waves of infantry. natasha is pretty good, but horrible if you have a wave of tanks going at her. she can take out 1 tank using her ability, kill the other using a plane, but she'll probably die before the 3rd one. she's fun to play with though if you can keep her at low key. yuriko i would say is the best, cause her juggling skills is pretty insane, especially if you can micro efficiently. i nearly never use her special powers becasue of how insane her attack is. even against air units. if you ever decide to attack her with a group of twin-blades, you'll definitely lose one. if you're saying 1vs1, i've seen it happen before. tanya is generally too weak to even do this, 2 shots from natasha means a dead tanya, even if she ports back 5 seconds. tanya wouldn't even be able to shot natasha. yuriko... i'm not as sure about cause she can juggle natasha, but i'm not sure if she'll get in range before natasha gets 2 shots on her. side note: have you guys noticed that tanya gets blonder by the game? Inferno 22 Posted March 20, 2009 (edited) Yuriko is definitely the best, but in a hero vs hero combat Natasha is definitely the best (as I've seen in the Yuriko clone mission on Challenge) Tanya would be the best at vehicle killing since she can hop to each vehicle, killing entire divisions Natasha is really effective at taking down enemy infantry and stuctures at long range, while Yuriko is the best at powerful, heavily armored vehicles and of course structures.
