RA3 Uprising - Best Price?

Recommended Posts

As a download - is there going to be much competition in pricing?

Is there going to be any difference in where I buy from? Pricing/Features etc

Doesn't seem to be any advantage to pre-orders either, except for possibly a early partial download perhaps?

Are we finally going to get a package as good as the Singapore one???

:)

We have to wait and see. So far there are no news in selling Uprising in packages yet. I hope EA is doing something about it instead of pwning themselves by making it an EA Online Store exclusive only.

I have serious doubts it will remain an EA store exclusive, they're go retail, and/or go onto something like Steam also.

USA Direct to Drive - Preorder USD$19.95

US and Canada only! Bundle of RA3 and Uprising $65 as well. RA3 by comparison is USD$29.95 to download from them.

UK & Europe Direct to Drive - Preorder 14.95 euros ...er pounds

Uk & Europe edition only as well.

nothing listed for uprising at the Australian EA Store yet

Original RA3 available for AUD$79.95 though

It's obviously listed at the USA EA site, but it keeps redirecting me to an non-existent Aussie page so I can't see a price yet.

It is listed for release on 12.3.09.

I'm sure Sonic will keep our options uptodate, but I'm curious for information if anyone gets it.

EDIT: Update euros to British Stirling

Put it on a DVD instead.

I'm siding with this plan too. If they think they'll skip putting it onto a physical disk, I'll threaten to not buy it, then buy it anyway because it's RA3: Uprising, but not without much whining and complaining first.

What would be nice is when they decide to release the next expansion (you know they will), they wrap Uprising and the new content up into one nice little disk. The downloadable Uprising could be an expansion preview... that you pay for.
