I have a res of 1680 x 1020 and I feel like it should stretch to fit.

I dislike the new link colors on the forum. The yellow looked better in my opinion.

Edit: Also on the toolbar on the frontpage of CNCNZ.com, I noticed when I clicked "Forums" it opens a whole new window for Firefox and for downloads it opens in the same window. Maybe for both of these you should have it open a new tab?

I used the Desolater artwork because it was similar to the Tesla Trooper artwork that was there before.

Its not good for your eyes to read large blocks of text stretched across the screen. And that's what would happen if I allowed the layout to fill 1680px across. I won't make this change on the forums though, I considered it.

There is absolutely now way in HTML of forcing links to open in a new tab. Its a user controlled thing only. If your on the main page of the site and what to jump to the forums, us the idx_midnav_forums.gif link and open that in a new tab.

The main menu bug has been corrected. Changed the order so it stops the GAMES menu disappearing behind the slide show images. The menu functions well in both Firefox and IE, it works in Opera but has some alignment issues.

Jarzka: Judging by your posting history you don't like anything related to this site or C&C. Everything you have posted show signs of being nothing but an annoying troll

I have my own opinion about new C&C games ;) When there is something new about old-style C&C games I will be more positive...

i am glad to see that someone cares! thanks dude! what you did was a smart walkarround solution and its a damn problem with flash like banners like yours. i am just sad EALA didnt make something on their site to to fix that, i can live with the minor alligment on hover menu. its fine for now!

great job keep up. i would like to sujest one more think how about of making a left and right corner backgroun of the fantstic Cryo Leg art and maybe the Ronin on the other site like this site has Kerrigan and Zeratul? http://www.sc2pod.com/

i think with your current layout will fit Very nicly and make it realy Cool!

just an idea to think off!.

How about tweaking and improving a new CNCNZ's logo? Has this logo been existed for over a decade without a change?

Nice one, but we don't need the purple flashing light background anyway including the lightning.

Old is GOOD. Simple and effective. I won't like it if Sonic changes CNCNZ's font and design every year. What CNCNZ lacks is a Logo. (please don't tell me CNCNZ wordings is a logo.)

I've improved the main navigation drop down menu on the top of main site. The code is smaller, menu operates faster than before. It also has a nice animation effect as well. Oh yeah, it works perfectly in Firefox, IE or Opera.

Great job! But there is something redundant.

fgvuy7.png

First, as you can see from my red markings, why have "forums" options twice? Why not bring up that forums pic/link up.

Second, the "News", isn't that on the main page, why repeat?

Third, bring the rest of the "roundtable discussions" "staff blogs" "C&Ctv" pic/links up.

By doing so, make pic/links instead of words for "Features""Gallery" "Download" "Games" "Site info" to match the rest of the pic/links.

Something to nitpick, hope you won't mind. :)

These images....

Only appear on the main page, there are to highlight key areas of the site. Once your on sub page the redundancy factor is not an issue. Can't see myself making any more changes to this area unless its some major code breaking bug or something.

Second, the "News", isn't that on the main page, why repeat?

Not sure what you mean by this. Its called the NEWS menu, it drops down and shows you what inside that section. It just happens to link to the main page as well.

I read all suggestions and feedback regarding the site, so feel free to fire away with what you think should be where.... weather I agree is another story all together ;)

What I meant was... since the main menu is the "News" link, why bother making a "News" link when on the main menu? :)

there are some "standards" when ctreating a website! a site that respects it self has a navigation menu tha repeats all the main section even those currently displayed!

imagine your self serfing into the GAMES section, how would you Check the NEWS? NEWS must be there and the this JavaScript menu (i used it a lot in the pas in an old site of mine has nice animations indeed!) is the best one ever and its working like a charm!

everything is Perfect now! i only wish there was a FILL in the upper LEFT and RIGHT Corners with some Cool Art Units in Blue "effect" skin! like did in the Forum Header!

that would be even cooler! ^_^

Oic, thanks for explaining to me! Anyway, I just nitpicked a little and I hope Sonic doesn't mind too much. But overall the new layout, as previously mentioned, it's really well done. Kudos to Sonic!
