Luk3us 63 Posted April 23, 2009 So my old wireless mouse started to die. And since there was a special on I got a funky Razor Diamondback.. And I must say, of all the mice I have used over the years, this one WTF PWNS everything I've ever used... Its so smooth it just glides everywhere.. And its an OLD model FFS... I'd hate to think what the newer ones are like... So yes, I feel special now. And had to share it with all of you. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted April 23, 2009 I am currently using my recent Razer Deathadder ever since I smashed my wireless cheap mircosoft mouse after some fierce annoying arguments with my family. It's the best thing since then, and I never look back. Razer Mice FTW! Anyways, I was browsing around and was very surprised and tempted by the new Razer Mamba (5600dpi!!!). I guess right now I'll just stick to my Deathadder(1800dpi). Share this post Link to post

Malevolence 6 Posted April 23, 2009 (edited) Nope, it was my pesky cousins getting pretty annoying with all the nonsense 2 years back or so. I was so pissed off and wanted to chase them off my room, during the madness with all those annoying whining and shouting, I took my mouse and threw it really hard at them. I just don't care. I just want them to GTFO. I just want silence. They ducked, the mouse smashed on the floor and broke. "No more playing and messing on my PC GTFO!" Edited April 23, 2009 by Malevolence Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted April 23, 2009 My mouse is the Logitech MX620 Cordless Laser Mouse http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_poi...87&cl=US,EN If a mouse has cord I don't use it. Share this post Link to post
BioBen 3 Posted April 23, 2009 My mouse is a peice of crap. Picture unnecessary Share this post Link to post
Wee_Ooh 0 Posted April 23, 2009 I got my mouse from Best Buy. Srsly. $5 mouse FTW. Also, I hate cordless mice. Nothing more annoying than when your mouse starts getting low on batteries. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted April 23, 2009 Wireless Advantages: - Neater desktop - Can be thrown at people that pisses you off. Disadvantages: - Battery/charging reliant. (It drains damn fast) - Responsive time may be affected slightly. (Some mild users think it's alright so I have nothing to say.) Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted April 23, 2009 I got a diamondback as well, but mine's blue. It used to be epic, but now the clicking is a lot more difficult Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted April 23, 2009 I use a $15 Microsoft optical. Piss on that stupid fancy ****. I don't need it. If it's wireless, I don't want it. My peripherals absolutely must be wired. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted April 23, 2009 I use the laser mouse that came with my tower. Works fine for me. Hate wireless and lack of scroll wheels. I took my mouse and threw it really hard at them. I just don't care. I just want them to GTFO. So... temper problem. Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted April 23, 2009 Hate wireless and lack of scroll wheels. omg yes. I HAVE A FRIEND IN THIS REGARD! yay! XD Share this post Link to post
Fiesta 0 Posted April 24, 2009 (edited) Batteries FTL. Logitech MX518 FTW for all time. Seriously hate the feel of Razer's mice, though. Logitech's designs have an actual thumb grip with a sort of resting point; THAT is what I absolutely have to have. SetPoint is damn good software, as well, no matter what anyone says. The features they have also work well with the mouse's design, even if I don't need that many buttons (I do use all but the app-switching button, though; the joint in my middle finger always rubs into it, and that got annoying). Well, it's just a preference. Different people tend to have different grip on the mouse. So... temper problem. Any random labeling on members doesn't make you superior. Tone down your ego, it helps. Luk3us 63 Posted April 24, 2009 Wireless mice aren't responsive enough for WTF PWNING noobs online in FPS games. Though I like wireless mice and keyboards for everything else. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted April 24, 2009 My wireless mouse has none of that. The batteries last around 300 days. I've never been inclined to use a wireless mouse for 300 days. Any random labeling on members doesn't make you superior. Tone down your ego, it helps. My what? Where? No idea what this 'ego' thing is you reference, although the image of Luk3us pops into my head when I think about it. Share this post Link to post
Wee_Ooh 0 Posted April 24, 2009 In our old computer (our 90's computer), we had a mouse with a track ball and no scroll wheel. Now I CAN'T STAND mice that aren't optical. And I don't know how you can even use a mouse without a scroll wheel. >_> But I'll take any mouse, so long as it has the aforementioned features. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted April 24, 2009 And I don't know how you can even use a mouse without a scroll wheel. >_> Yes you can. Just scroll... wait a min... use the keyboard [spacebar] or [up arrow] and [down arrow]? Been there, done that, along with a system that lags very hard on surfing teh internet + 56k frequent disconnecting modem. Share this post Link to post
Wee_Ooh 0 Posted April 24, 2009 I didn't actually not know how to do it, I would just kill myself if I had to use the keyboard or scrollbar for everything. Or buy a new mouse. Either way. Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted May 6, 2009 i remember the 56k days ...and i got a wireless mouse with my new PC. have a wired backup though. it seems to get annoying time to time when i play my FPS' (often) and the batteries die, or some kind of connectivity issue arises. the reason i got my wireless keyboard & mouse was so i could move them further from my desk. Mighty BOB! 5 Posted May 6, 2009 Still kicking it with my Logitech G5 V1 (the stupid one without the 2nd side button.. WHY NO 2ND BUTTON?! ) until such a time as it dies on me --at which time I'll be getting the V2 model with the blue crackle grip and the delicious 2nd side button. I can't use wireless mice. I had one and although it was kind of a cheap Dell thing from 2002, having to do any charging or battery replacement is unacceptable to me now. The batteries died on me during multiplayer matches of Renegade and Halo too many times. And throwing your mouse at someone is irrational. Sounds like something my roommate would do and he has serious rage issues (he broke his keyboard once because he lost a game of Tetris). Share this post Link to post
