General Leang 0 Posted April 10, 2004 Could someone run through with me what Kane was doing in the original Red Alert? I know the story behind it all, how he sides with the Soviets to further the interests of Nod. But how did he get there? Was he originally from the 1940s? Did he uncover time travel? Or is this all simply explained away because he is some form of Tiberium messiah? Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted May 16, 2004 Just trust in EA that they will fill in all the blanks in the mysterious C&C legacy...... aka: I don't have a clue...... Share this post Link to post
Guest Dude Man Posted May 28, 2004 Acually I belive Red Alert takes place before C&C. He starts of as a soviet dude and then when the tiberium comes around he becomes a mutant and lives forever! There for thats why he is a mutant when you enter a cheat code in Renegade and become Kane. So yeah Kane is a mutant I think and he lives forever n' stuff. Heh...I'm probally wrong but oh well  Share this post Link to post

General Leang 0 Posted January 4, 2005 I think we find out Cabal was really Kane all along, and we see all the clones which go some way to explaining what he was doing as Stalin's adviser. Share this post Link to post
Intruder_Kane 0 Posted January 4, 2005 ok. that explains alot. so, how did it end up? was he destroyed? Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted January 4, 2005 Far as I can remember we see Cabal revealed to be Kane and there are Kane clones. Share this post Link to post
Saracen 16 Posted January 4, 2005 Kane was created to operate and to look like the human form of the great Scrin Leader. Centuries before Red Alert the Scrin Leader sent one of his clones down to investigate Earth, and study the human spicies. Nod was created to be the ultimate oppressor to any factions getting in the way of the Scrin's main goal. Of course the Soviets lost the 2nd World War, and Kane was forced to retreat underground, and amass an army to retake earth. This was the reason why the Tiberian Meteor was sent from the Scrin Homeworld.. Kane had failed his task, so earth would be taken by force. Cabal in my opinion is the mind of the Scrin Leader and therefore the mind of Kane.... I guarentee when we next see Kane it will be on a huge mothership sitting on a commanders throne with the ability to transform between his normal alien and human forms. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Of course the Tiberian Trilogy is not a trilogy.... we were told by Westwood in the old days that the story would take the form of about 6 games to complete the story from... In my opinion, if Westwood were still around, this is how it would play out (names would be probably titles): Tiberian Twilight - Scrin Arrive, the invaision of Earth has begun Tiberian Exodus - The fight for earth is lost, neither the humans or scrin can inhabit the planet due to the last war.. the planet is out of orbit and heading towards the sun... Evacuation of the human race is the only option... the Scrin retreat, the humans fight back... Planets in this game would act as countries would in it's predocessors Tiberian Incursion - Human's play the Scins game and find themselves in orbit of the Scrin Homeworld. The Humans must invade the planet and convert it to their own atmosphere using information they decoded from the tacitus. Tiberian Annihilation - Like Tiberian Sun on the Scrin Planet, the Scrin homeworld is being converted into a breathable atmosphere for the human race to live. But the Scrin decide its all or nothing and they decide to build the ultimate weapon to destroy everything, including Tiberian, humans and also themselves.. Oh well, it will never happen now... and If it does, my children's children will be playing the final Tiberian game. And I probably will never live to that day in age  Share this post Link to post
