Malevolence 6 Posted August 14, 2009 Nice to see some minor tweaks. Looks refreshing. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted August 14, 2009 I'm not really a fan of the Veteran Members' sea green, but I guess I will never have to wear it since if I even lose my Moderators position, I'll become Retired Staff. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted August 15, 2009 I actually preferred the old ones myself. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted August 15, 2009 They should do something about ordinary members as well. Share this post Link to post

I changed the colour of the Veteran Members group because when I add the the icon it looked odd with old Orange colour for that group. The new colour is Dark Cyan, not Sea Green. If any one would like suggest a better colour for the Veteran Members group go right ahead. Keeping mind that it can't clash with any of theme forum skins. They should do something about ordinary members as well. No changes will be made the the standard members group. Just the normal links. Don't worry Malevolence you will move into the Veteran Members group soon enough It's an automatic change. Oh, and regarding the the little group icons such as . I've actually got an idea to change them to little symbols rather than capital letters. Share this post Link to post

I was looking at the bottom of the forums, the "Board Statistics" area, I notice the User Legend, all classes are in bold and in their specialized colors, kinda out of place for the Members. lol maybe a simple bold on the word "Members" would fit neatly with the rest? Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted August 15, 2009 The new colour is Dark Cyan, not Sea Green. I actually didn't think it was sea green, but couldn't figure out what it was. It looked too green to be cyan. If any one would like suggest a better colour for the Veteran Members group go right ahead. Keeping mind that it can't clash with any of theme forum skins. Hmm, I guess unless you went with pink or purple, there aren't many choices left... (these aren't suggestions, just seeing what some alternatives might look like) Veteran Members Too dark... Veteran Members Too purple... Veteran Members Too bright... Veteran Members Kind of ugly, but I actually like it more than Dark Cyan... Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted August 16, 2009 Veteran Members in Dark Cyan is just nice. Don't change it anymore. Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted August 16, 2009 Oh, and regarding the the little group icons such as . I've actually got an idea to change them to little symbols rather than capital letters. That's awesome Veteran Members in Dark Cyan is just nice. Don't change it anymore. Agreed. Share this post Link to post
Wildshield 0 Posted August 17, 2009 bah... as long as I've been here I'm never going to get up to that 2500 plus post bit. Posting should flow with the topic at hand. Not random spamming I see here and there. I've liked the new look the site has been going in the past few weeks. But Badages, we don't need no stinking badages. Share this post Link to post

BioBen 3 Posted August 19, 2009 I think you have even less emotion than Nmenth Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted August 19, 2009 I think it is a speling error. Its obviously a spelling (speling?) error as he was referring to the ranking badges. The rest of the guys were too carried away poking fun at §tìngèr's post. Sonic should come down here to clear this nuisance up. Share this post Link to post
Wildshield 0 Posted August 20, 2009 Indeed it was a spelling error. Badges should have been the correct word. Knowing this place, I should have reread my post before the reply. Jealous you say? Perhaps a little. Share this post Link to post
BioBen 3 Posted August 20, 2009 Back on topic... I think the EALA Developer one should be changed as APOC and 2POC aren't actually developers as far as i know. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted August 20, 2009 I think the EALA Developer one should be changed as APOC and 2POC aren't actually developers as far as i know. I was kind of wondering about that one myself... Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted August 20, 2009 Back on topic... I think the EALA Developer one should be changed as APOC and 2POC aren't actually developers as far as i know. Its possible that sometime later some EA dev may pop down here and comment something. It's alright to leave it as EALA Developer. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted August 20, 2009 No they are not. But Mastermind is Plus I've heard APOC has done some development work during RA3, not sure what he did though. In the end I wasn't really sure what to call the EALA group badge. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted August 20, 2009 In the end I wasn't really sure what to call the EALA group badge. It's good enough as is, but I also think just a big EALA would work too. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted August 20, 2009 EALA Team, or EALA Dev Team perhaps? Share this post Link to post
