Renegade X - Pre-Release Update #2

Are you ready? The first public release for Renegade X is almost here. It will be available for download on the 30th of September. And the team have posted a mammoth sized pre-release update. I've personally had a sneak peak at special version of Renegade X and it looks very impressive. Anyway, the new update covers the following topics.

The team haven't announced any system requirements for Renegade X but any computer that handles UT3 will be fine with Renegade X.

 

UT3 Minimum System Requirements

• 2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor
  
• 512 Mbytes of System RAM
  
• NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card

Time for you to upgrade a new rig. Intel Lynnfield Core i5/i7 is pretty good stuff or anything better. And, a Nvidia graphics card for the PhysX performance. Maybe you should consider it since you play games quite often.

I still need to buy UT3 when I get some money, am guessing you still need to set up an account on UT3 first be for you can play on RenX, is that right?

Yea, you will need to setup an account and stuff.

 

Dam, i still haven't bought UT3, i lost track of the release. Hopefully i can get it tomorrow or sometime during the week.

For anyone getting copies of Unreal Tournament 3 to play Renegade X make sure you get the latest patch for Unreal Tournament 3, that is Patch v2.1. It is needed for Renegade X and must be installed before the mod.

Thanks man for the patch link I download the patch now in advances, even tho I do not have the UT3 game yet, but still its better to get every thin downloaded in advances so I don't have to spend time downloading them later on, I can just get on with it making account on UT3 and then install ReneagdeX.
