A brand new trailer for the impressive looking C&C 3: The Forgotten mod has been posted at CNC Labs. This mod will be telling The Forgotten's story through immersive 1080p full motion video, the first mod to include such a feature. And with this trailer you can see a bit of it.

They weren't excellent actors though... and the main guy was way too clean to pass as one of the Forgotten. Some unshaven facial hair or random dirt smudges would go a long way. Still, it was done fairly well and I don't know what kind of resources they had at their disposal.

The acting was rather stiff, but pretty cool for an amateur production. They just need to polish up a few areas, and it should be pretty sweet.

They may not be professionals, but at least they can do it. After all, they got the good scripts, except the acting I'm not sure. When it comes to the looks of themselves, sometimes I criticize them, but in this case, I don't, because, well, let's just say EA loves Hollywood so much while Westwood doesn't, and I keep the spirit.

 

The resources wise is, well, basically Photoshop for their background. If I were acting over there, we mostly do it behind green screens, just like the EA people does too. Green screen is effective only in certain circumstances since EA have the props. But to us regular home people, we don't have those. Think if someone play as a Soviet Premier, but what about the props? You can't act with your table is a regular study table.

We (yes, I am in the team too as the concept artist and one of the model texture creators, but I dont appear at the video, I got a slight beard) are still working to improve the game in many ways, there are still many things to implement on this mod and we will see what we can do.

This is just amazing! An incredible job with omg... FMVs!!! Pretty awesome job even for amateur acting. Maybe a little more dirt and stuff to the makeup and outfit would be better though. Overall I will try this mod out for sure.
