The big EB GAMES is doing the "soundtrack and extra mission" pre-order deal for AUD$88.00.

 

The major competitor GAME has the best price I've seen for $74AUD (online) but doesn't include the soundtrack and mission.

 

Sonic mention Mighty Ape's free t-shirt which at NZD$99 works out to be AUD$77 even with shipping but still no soundtrack and mission.

 

EAStore has the download only version for AUD$79.95 with soundtrack and mission.

 

So for any of you guys planning to make a deal with the devil and get C&C4 - where and with what goodies?

Actually Mighty Ape's deal is NZ$89.99 not $99. The lack of soundtrack/bonus mission.... well don't really care to be honest.

I always planned to get C&C4, but not until it is cheap (in other words, no goodies). Maybe I won't get around to buying it until after its (first) expansion is out and I'll buy it in a two for one deal.

 

I considered buying a preorder to have a contest with (my own contest, not CNCNZ.com's), but regardless of whether I could afford it, I'd hate to pay good money for the thing.

After I saw the EA Store preorder for digital download, it made me wonder if the preorder bonuses are digital format or physically included with the package?

ie. do I get a soundtrack disc.

 

And will it have the awful track/gaps from the RA3 version?

I stand corrected then. I didn't think of the postage because Mighty Ape ship for free to NZ addresses that cost more than $49.95.

Its an MP3 download. You pre-order and you get sent a code to download the soundtrack.

Doesn't seem like EA are going to make a special edition for C&C4.

 

Most special editions for ANY game are typically crap anyway.

It's preety quiet at this point of time to see or hear any news on special packages from any part of the world. Strange, and disappointing.

Unless there's a really good (Dutch) pre-order deal, which almost never happens, I will get the Steam version. I'm getting all my games there, because not having to reinstall them when I reinstall Windows is a real time-saver. Hopefully they do some kind of launch deal of "get Uprising for free with C&C4".

I tried to look for Singapore's pack... but couldn't find anything too obvious.

 

Nothing special, just a T-shirt, a Tote Bag and the game with the usual pre-order bonuses.

 

We do get $15 discount though for people who own any previous C&C game (in exchange for a coupon)
