Code 13 Mod - The Latest Updates

Recommended Posts

The Alpha Zerox team of C&C Generals Code 13 mod has just shown their latest air force weapon called "Shadowhawk". It allows the user to strike high priority targets deep behind enemy lines with good precision using it's very powerful missiles. However the Shadowhawk is only available to the Airforce General. Check out this video below.

The Shadowhawk Strike (inspired by the Mercenary Unit with the same name from Act of War: High Treason) allows it's user to strike high priority targets deep behind enemy lines with good precision. The Plane that delivers the Missile (in this Video a B2, but is now a gigantic F117) is stealthed and packs a lot of punch. It launches the Missile from a great distance, making it nearly impossible to prevent it's launch.

The team has also announced that the new version of the mod will be released at the end of the year. Click here for more information.

It's amazing that E.V.E. and her team are still doing this mod for years now. Therefore I am looking forward to their release soon.

Looks a lot more realistic really. Do you think they make actual bombs nowadays? It's pretty much all missiles ;)

I haven't heard of missiles that hits the ground and then travels horizontally towards a target

But it looks very cool none the less.

I think it's supposed to be a in-air second stage rocket dude.

Actually, I believe most air to ground ordinance is still a bomb (free falling) not a missile (propelled).

They may be smarter, but they are still bombs.

But hey I'm no expert.

Most ≠ all though.

Dbjs2009, most of these mod teams do have a site or a set of forums, which are usually more organized than ModDB profiles. At least, it is much easier to organize fan feedback in forums than in the comments of a ModDB profile. This specific mod team has a set of forums HERE. I'm sure they prefer to see their forums getting more popular than their ModDB profile.

1 ≠ all

2 ≠ all

3 ≠ all

4 ≠ all

5 ≠ all

6 ≠ all

Banshee, you're asking for us to mention their websites in the posts, which is reasonable enough.

I assume DB is getting his information from moddb so it's only natural that is where he is pointing everyone back too.

Unless the quantity of objects in question are only 1/2/3/4/5/6/... smart one. Most, however, is never equal to all.

My point being, so what if most bombs are non-propelled, this one obviously is, which means what "most" are is irrelevant.

There's gotta be some plane that can fire a cruise missile.

Indeed, the first cruise missile were dropped from bombers, lacking the range to come from farther away. Ironically, I was just researching a few early Soviet cruise missiles dropped from the Tupolev Tu-16 "Badger" a few days ago for a satirical article I was writing.

The US Air Force has the AGM-86 and AGM-158 which are air-deployed cruise missile.

Are they going to change the model? Because if not, that's a B2 Spirit. :P

They should have stuck with the B-2, as it actually uses the AGM-158:
