Countdown!

I'm gonna kick off a countdown thing here in CNCNZ, since nobody else seems to be doing it.

 

So it's raining hard here in my place. It's just about 4 hours, 18 minutes to go before new year's eve. We just had a nice dinner (although we have more in stock for the Noche Buena, a Filipino tradition, later). No noise so far, and no fireworks for sure (it's banned in our city, damn).

In Croatia, 11 more hours. Here in Split it's a nice, sunny, relatively warm day. Only things you can hear are occasional bangs from firecrackers (it's almost folklore how kids injure themselves with those) and traffic which is smaller than usual.

That doesn't seem to stop anyone here, been hearing fireworks for the past few days now (only legal on the last and first day)

On a more serious note, if the world, everybody knows that everybody is going to hell, i.e. die on a particular time, day and date... say 2012 since everybody sooo hyped out over it... time to see the extreme ugly side of the human race, the true colors of humans.

The very laws, civilizations, society, etc. created for a very particular main basic reason will be out of the equation, and you can figure out the rest.

 

P.S. I don't think its funny, rly.

 

But anyways, 2011, another year added up as what Sonic said, meaning more maturity for each and everyone. Cheers.

That isn't how the world works though. The peasantry of the world, IE you me and the other 99.8% of hte population like in ignorance. So when the end really does come, you won't actually know it till you're dead. The other 0.2% go jump in their spaceship and fly to Mars.

Provided that we know it's the brink and we have enough time to make that way true.
