Ares Expansion DLL Trailer Released

Mental Omega APYR has just posted a new video on their Facebook page about the Ares Expansion DLL for Yuri's Revenge. Ares will be used to enhance Yuri's Revenge mods like Mental Omega, a mod that continues the storyline of Yuri's Revenge. Check out the latest features in the video below.

 

Ares expansion DLL

A few things shown here will be featured in the upcoming Mental Omega version 3.0. The Ares Expansion fixes and enhances the Yuri's Revenge game engine in a variety of ways, allowing modders to expand the game with never before seen custom units.

 

Ares is not a modification for Yuri's Revenge, it is something modders can base their mods on in order to use logics the original game did not provide.

DestroyAnims don't need Ares. I remember I made them through clean INI coding.
