Hell, this is surely the mod with the most imagination out there for RA3. They've added a completely new feeling for Yuri's arsenal!

I don't know what cave you crawled out of or if you're doing this on purpose to annoy people off, but everything looks amazing.

Sure, the screenshots aren't as zoomed-in and scenic as official game screenshots and they do show aliasing, but that doesn't mean everything looks like s**t.

 

Hell, I couldn't be arsed to take beautiful, arranged screenshots if I wanted to, I'd just take random shots to show off progress like they did, and wouldn't bother getting vehicles in a fight, at a certain angle and zoom, and arranged in a certain manner, to JUST get a screenshot or 2.

 

...Or maybe you're just jealous. Is it possible you are one of those who wanted to play the mod this originated from before it got canceled? You know, the one that wanted to make 7 factions, and make Yuri EXACTLY like in YR, from vehicle and building design to how much damage was dealt by a unit, and its price? (That mod was unoriginal and the models were really badly done)

I like this mod as well as RA3 Paradox. What I like about this mod is the return of Yuri and his faction.

They must make textures more smooth, because now it's very sharpened and it's looked like cartoon or paper texture, instead metal. Look at RA3 units - all of their textures mostly smooth, but with sharpened borders or effects on it. Synergy units very detalized, it's reminds me about pixeled models from RA2.

 

Also, for me, here are best mods, that I've waiting for:

 

- RA3: Synergy

- RA2: Mental Omega

- RA2: Reloaded (Tiberian Sun vs RA2:YR battle with underground units, kirovs and psy-technologies, etc)

- RA3: Unleashed - nice story continuation and little different fractions, like Mental Omega

 

 

I dont like Paradox only because stupid title. I'm from Russia and I can't read it "Paradox", for me it's Рдядаож (russian letters), that sounds in russian language like "Rdyadaozh"

People really need to get over the faux-cyrillic, you wouldn't believe how many complaints we get about it, instead of things that could actually help Paradox
