Actually, the "Also Tagged With" thing was always enabled, it was just missing from the topic view template ;) No idea why though. Either way its fixed now.

Just some forum re-order changes to mention.

The forums listed below have been move to new Hosted Projects category. Cartoon and Conquer is no longer a category as no other forums will be created for this project.

I am considering making the new Hosted Projects category as sub category/forum of the News & Updates category. Hosted Projects is further down the main index right now. The sub forum would like

Hosted Projects -
C&C Legos/Tiberium Legos , Cartoon and Conquer , Tiberium RPG Project

Changes have been made in the Command & Conquer Modding Community category. Created these new forums...

As you can see what was called once called the Classic C&C Related Maps & Modding forum has been split up into separate forums. It was becoming confusing have 4 games rolled into one forum.

The category known as Archived Forums has been deleted. This of course had 1 forum in it for the long since cancelled Tiberium game. All old topics have been dumped the Gaming Discussion forum.

Good call. Might I suggest pushing the Hosted Projects forum above General Discussion, as C&C Legos, Cartoon & Conquer etc. are after all exclusives to CNCNZ?

Yeahr, I think they should be a little higher up, since they have stuff that a lot of people seem to visit.

Above Command & Conquer Universe of Games maybe, but the Off Topic forum still gets more attention than any of the hosted projects...

Maybe, but off-topic spaces exist on virtually every forum. Hosted projects are what distinguishes this site from others.

Ok, I've moved the Hosted Projects up the page a bit.

Great job. I've experienced the changes of these forums through the years, and it's never been as intuitive and comfortable to use as it is now.

Only thing that still bugs me after all these years is the color theme. It's awful :P

Personally I think the blue colours work well. But if you don't like it you can always use the boring default IP.Board theme.

Heretic. Blue and gold is the best.

How about a new splash intro for CNCNZ, Sonic?

Edit: Congrats on passing your 12,000th post. :D

Well, I associate blue and yellow with discount stores and well, Sweden.

Never said the standard IP board theme is less awful though ;):P

Just did some fine tuning on some of the font colours. Mostly with the sidebar on the main index. Everything less bold and links now appear different to standard text, EG in the Recent Status Updates box. Also added the text shadow effect to category/table titles so it matches the format on the main site. CTRL+F5 to re-cache the CSS may be required for you to see these changes.

Yeah the text has a more 'pop' feel to it now.

Users can now no longer delete their own posts. If you require something to be deleted you will need to report it or PM an Admin or Mod.

Users who sometimes make a mistake of posting in the wrong section can delete their own posts rather than putting in an "Edit: Never mind" message. I don't see a reason why is this feature removed for users except for the admins/mods. But deleting posts that has already has its reputation set cannot be undone to reputation ratings of a user.

A topic/post found in the wrong section falls into the moderator domain and such forum staff will handle it when required. Although I don't quite fully understand what you're trying to point out (exactly) other than things we already know - not allowing users to delete their own posts has it's advantages, such as eliminating the option of thread deletion by the thread starter and the prevention of confusive thread evolution (if somebody deletes his own posts within an ongoing forum discussion and creates a leap of logic or lack of continuity within that thread). This forum change is a positive one and could very well keep everything cleaner around here (and easier to manage), so leave it at that.

Its nothing to do the rep system. But AZ-Stalker's post basically explains the change.

Fixed GameTrailers.com video embed code for the media tag. To embed a GameTrailers.com video in your post you must copy and past the video URL found inside the IFRAME tag as seen in the example below.

<div style="background-color:#000000;width:520px;"><div style="padding:4px;"><iframe src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgid:arc:video:gametrailers.com:1114c9ea-1bec-4106-8eca-eabf64674555" width="512" height="288" frameborder="0"></iframe><p style="text-align:left;background-color:#FFFFFF;padding:4px;margin-top:4px;margin-bottom:0px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px;"><b><a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/games/5bx7h6/gametrailers-com">GameTrailers.com</a></b></p></div></div>

The link you would need to copy will look simiar to this one

http://media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgid:arc:video:gametrailers.com:1114c9ea-1bec-4106-8eca-eabf64674555

I also found out (that you did not mention earlier), users who double/triple post in the same thread (just to bump the thread) instead gets integrated together as one post. This does not work well if someone wants to post more than five embedded videos (which is the limit per user per post) unless some other user posted another post (applies to threads "Video of the Day" and "Now Playing - Music").

In most cases if the same person makes two back to back posts with in the set 5 minute window, the posts will be merged at the time of posting. Anything out side that is up to the moderators/admins. When I see back to back posts like this, I always merge them, rather than seeing a row of posts from the same user. Exceptions are made in some threads though, like the "Video of the Day" thread.

And yes there a limit to the number the videos that can be embedded per post. Mostly because to many media files embedded on one page can potentially crash the browser. 5 is a rather generous amount I feel, you shouldn't have to post any more than that to be honest.

I am having a problem posting more than one coding of a file such as this (happens when I created a thread; might be a bug):

a

and this:

b

It somehow defaults to have only shown one of it.
