Luk3us 63 Posted June 2, 2012 Coming up in the next few days, anything you guys are looking forward to? I'm interested in Sim City, and... That is about it really. Share this post Link to post
dbjs2009 25 Posted June 2, 2012 I'm interested in Sim City and Assassins's Creed III. And indeed Sim City was one of the most remarkable titles back then, I hope the new one will be too. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted June 2, 2012 Sim City 3000 was great, they just dumbed down every sequel after that, and in my opinion, ruined the whole point of playing. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted June 2, 2012 Yeah I never played the last one, Societies? Or some such, heard horrible things. I'd recommend Cities XL for a good city builder, but it lacks... Soul, unlike Sim City. Saw the new Tomb Raider trailer, looks interesting. Also saw that Injustice trailer, funny stuff. Share this post Link to post
Tore 33 Posted June 2, 2012 I'm looking forward to the new Sim City and Arma 3 Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted June 2, 2012 Coming up in the next few days, anything you guys are looking forward to? To be honest.... nothing really. Unless there is a Generals 2 trailer or something. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted June 2, 2012 Since there isn't going to be a Mass Effect 4, there is still hope for Battlefield 3 expansions, Crysis 3 and a new version of Sim City. Share this post Link to post
Plok 327 Posted June 2, 2012 That's EXACTLY what's been confirmed, zocom7. http://forums.cncnz.com/topic/16918-list-of-ea-games-at-e3/ 1 Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted June 3, 2012 Since there isn't going to be a Mass Effect 4 Not at this E3 sure, but I seriously doubt EA will just let such a big franchise 'die', even with the ending debacle. The simple fact they're creating an 'extended cut' for ME3 proves they want to salvage their reputation. Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted June 3, 2012 I'm not looking forward to anything, because I still have a huge backlog of games still to play. Share this post Link to post
BigJoe 4 Posted June 3, 2012 (edited) I'm not looking forward to anything, because I still have a huge backlog of games still to play. This, plus I'm not really into games that much anymore. Generals 2 is the only thing I am interested in, but since that will not be showing up at E3 I really don't want to pay attention to it this year. Doctor Destiny 41 Posted June 4, 2012 Simcity, Warfighter, Borderlands 2 (dunno if it was at E3 though), Bioshock Infinite (same as BL2) and Generals 2 (even though it wasn't at E3). Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted June 7, 2012 http://www.gametrailers.com/video/e3-2012-simcity/731683 Sim City gets multiplayer! The EA machine strikes again. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted June 16, 2012 I did not keep up with E3 as it was happening. Way too many ****ty "liveblog" posts and other rubbish I don't care about (except the show girls... always the show girls!!) I've looked back it now though from recaps and summaries, this is what I've seen that perked my interest (a lot of this was found via a VG Cats post... I'm a purple Pikmin ) Trailer for Metro: Last Light... prequel to Metro 2033 (which I thought was fantastic). There are gameplay videos from E3 too: Normally not a Halo fanboy but this trailer was too good... Watch Dogs trailer. This game, from most recaps and comments, is what everyone is looking at now. And I gotta say, the concept is pretty awesome. GTA + Hitman basically (gameplay videos are online from E3 too): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U8KsQPIrY0&feature=plcp Quantum Conundrum.. cute little puzzle game, from some of the Portal creators apparently. Not from Valve. (the interview is a bit.. odd, IMO. Reminds me of Aziz Ansari except not as funny): And like Luk3us... SimCity of course!! SC3000 was the best... so much fun when I was younger! It rivaled C&C in terms of hours played. I am not sure I like tilt-lense influenced look but I'd have to play it first. It looks nice but sort of weird to me. Watch the video, they explain that what you see is what is happening. So, before, they had the math running and then expressed via text (but you'd get random graphics of it too). Now the graphics reflex the underlying mechanics, which is awesome: Simcity, Warfighter, Borderlands 2 (dunno if it was at E3 though), Bioshock Infinite (same as BL2) and Generals 2 (even though it wasn't at E3). Borderlands 2 looks wicked, as does Bioshock Infinite... Here's a gameplay video of Borderlands 2 from E3 (good stuff!): BIoshock has some gameplay up from e3.. I looked through, looks neat, but I didn't sit there and watch it because fear of anything getting spoiled: ] Share this post Link to post
