Which game companies are most likely...

....to be in danger and may be heading towards bankruptcy?

After reading a recent discussion in GR.org: http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=861921,

it appears Company of Heroes 2 might be in danger if THQ bankrupts and folds. As for the UFC series, the licensing is now shifting to EA. As for Apoc (aka THQTank), he left THQ in April 2012 according to this thread and he is now currently working in Sony Computer Entertainment as a community strategist.

Not sure about the others, if PC gaming is falling, so will video gaming in consoles as more epic titles await for the future with less releases. The only gaming thing that continues to rise is mobile and Internet gaming.

How is it you can take disparate pieces of news and turn it into a demi-end of the world piece?

If anything EA will only get bigger as they buy up more 'failing' developers. Till eventually EA will own the entire world. :D

Pff, PC gaming has been 'dying' for the last decade, and yet... Games are still being made, shock and horror.

ROTFLOLCOPTER! but if you remember the most of the massive console cow games all came from PC starting point. ie COD - Battlefield - Halo etc.

my question is if you took console sale figures out of the sales information, is PC games sale really dead?

The starting point for Halo was Mac, but that's still a PC. The first release was on the Xbox though. :P

PC gaming is dying so much that every time I check the users online on Steam it never goes under 3,500,000 concurrent users...and most of those sale charts do not include sales coming from digital distribution.

I dunno. I didn't make the image, but judging by the placeholder boxart I would say that it might have been made before Spore came out.

The messages is still as relevant as it ever was though.
