Screw Yuri's Revenge, thats so far from the C&C storyline. It has nothing to with it all. There is nothing to continue.

Seriously though it would be a stupid move for EA to base another C&C game on Generals/Zero Hour.

 

C&C 3 should be the continuation of the original C&C and Tiberian Sun storyline.

 

BTW, this Tiberian Twilight name that everyone keeps mentioning is not official. Sure Westwood mentioned it a few times over the past years and they registered some domains with that name. But we don't know if C&C 3 will be Tiberian Twilight. We should just call it C&C 3 until we find out more.

The title "C&C 3" belongs rightfully to the Tiberian universe.. I defy anyone who thinks otherwise.. of course not in a nasty way :wink:

I dont know if I want EA making a TT/CC3. Personally, I though generals absoluetly blew, and YR was corny. I would have liked to see Renegade 2, but Renegade Alert is great.

If you want C&C style gameplay, I suggest waiting for Petroglyph studios to bring out their RTS title that they're working on right now.

I think it'll do what EA did to Generals... 3 warring factions. GDI, NOD, Scrin.

 

I dunno how in depth they'll take Tiberian Twilight or whatever they choose to call it, but it'll be the same concept as Generals whereby we have 3 factions fighting against each other all the time. However, it could be possible in my eyes that It may just be 2 sides.

 

GDI & Nod at the end of firestorm merged together to rid cabal... what if they've finally signed a peace treaty and everything appears over, only for Kane to come back, this time on a Scrin MotherShip and attempt to take the world in his real form, since his clones could not do the job right on earth.

 

You'd have on The Brotherhood of Global Defense a side which has both technologies from GDI & Nod.... And then an overwhelmingly powerful Scrin side capable of destroying anything that's thrown at them...

 

That's quite an interesting name for the GDI/NOD alliance... The Brotherhood of Global Defense... I wonder if I can make that stick ...hmmmm

That name just sounds weird to me.

 

Besides It would kind of suck if they joined NOD and GDI into just one side. They could do like what they did in Yuri. Have a GDI and NOD single player which both sides fight the Scrin. And have Scrin available only in multiplayer.

 

But then who knows... They better not screw it up in any case....

I think the next game should be like 20-50 years after the GDI NOD war

with new weapons and structures wear both of them ae at it again but the mutants have gotten so strong that they arre now also designated a world power and can also be chosen as a faction. And most importantly the fight goes to other planets. It'd also be cool if u could play single player and do universe conqering or summat..

Unfortunately I can see Aliens being in this game... The scrin will not be left out if the Tiberian Series is persued. Thus we will see Aliens, spaceships, lasers and plasma balls.... it's one of those things that's inevitable.

 

I think this war will take place 20 or so years after Firestorm... say anywhere between 2050 & 2060... This in my mind will allow the Tiberian Series to move on far enough so that the Tiberian Sun Technology is obselete and new technology replaces it.

Whats wrong with aliens? The scrin have been in the Tiberian storyline since the start. It would be kinda of off if they just forgot about them in the next one. Least they're going to make another after that. Though I doubt it.
