Edit: I found out that EA_Fixnow from the TA forums did give away game codes of some free EA games in his Twitter page, but too bad only one user can redeem one code per game once in Origin. Not much of a good giveaway though, but the question was, how did he obtained those extra game codes?

He's affiliated with Easy Studios?

FYI, EA_Fixnow = Muhammand Al-Kaisy. He is one of the Global CMs in the Tiberium Alliances forums, possibly for the Arabic community which currently has its own sub-forums. The other CM is EA_rhiordd. They both are affiliated with Easy Studios.

Battlefield 3 is now free to download on Origin until June 3rd, and it's On the House!! (probably a promotion for the upcoming Battleifled Hardlines game)

https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/buy/battlefield-3/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition

As for Plants vs Zombies, that free game has extended to June 16.

Meh, not interested, as that game lacks single-player experience.

Also I missed yesterday's GOG.com 24-hour game giveaway, an indie game powered by Unreal Engine 3: Magrunner Dark Pulse. But most indie games powered by UE3 are short games, except Renegade-X, UT3 and Bioshock series.

Looks like PC Gamer is teaming up with Bundle Stars to give away free copies of a various game week after week. First Pid, then Spacechem, and there're four more to go (one for every week) until it ends. Today is the last day to get a free copy of Spacechem until 5 pm UK time: http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/06/25/we-have-one-million-spacechem-steam-keys-to-give-away-with-bundle-stars

Such an old game by EA should have been free permanently, not On the House. Maybe EA should have given away all DOS games (before C&C) for free permanently. That game wasn't mentioned in any of the game abandonware websites except for the first two Wing Commander games.
