Luk3us 63 Posted December 8, 2004 They shouldn't be added cause this poll is about Red Alert. Not Generals. Share this post Link to post
Gazdude 0 Posted December 8, 2004 You could train more than one Tanya in Red Alert, but this is a Red Alert 2 YR poll... Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Boris and Tanya Vs. Yuri Prime tournament: Tanya -> Dead Boris -> Dead Yuri -> WINS Yuri is the best over all of the heroes. Boris the second, and Tanya is the third. I've fixed all of the thing you're all arguing here, now just leave this thread Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted December 9, 2004 Boris and Tanya Vs. Yuri Prime tournament: Tanya -> Dead Boris -> Dead Yuri -> WINS Just how is Yuri able to defend himself, on his own, against Tanya and Boris? :?: Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted December 9, 2004 I wouldn't say that any of them are useless.... they all have strong and weak points. I for one think that Tanya is the best, but think that Boris is awesome as well. He can really tear through tanks with that AK. Yuri has always been a bit too strange for me... Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 11, 2004 Yuri is useless unless backed up. So he can't really go it lone wolf. Though Boris and Tanya can... Boris can a little better since he can shoot tanks. Unlike Tanya who has to run up to em' and plant C4... Though she can swim... In the end I reckon Boris is better cause he can shoot **** up. Instead of C4ing everything.... J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Boris and Tanya Vs. Yuri Prime tournament: Tanya -> Dead Boris -> Dead Yuri -> WINS Just how is Yuri able to defend himself, on his own, against Tanya and Boris? :?: All of them were died fatigued while hunting the great Yuri who never tired Or Yuri can use his machine thinggy to slam them Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted December 11, 2004 No, that way he has to mind ontrol a unit to defend himself. I mean how does he do it on his own, without having to mind control other units? Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 11, 2004 I edited the post while you're posting your post. Take a look again Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 11, 2004 Once more I must say... Yuri Prime by himself is useless. He MUST be used in a group... Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Yes I know that he can't kill other heros since he can't mind control them. But, it's impossible that a player will only use a hero without any other units in a war isn't it Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted December 11, 2004 I edited the post while you're posting your post. Take a look again But that scenario never happens in the game, does it? Does Yuri Prime have that mind blast defense? That would be how he could defend himself against Boris maybe, but Tanya would kill him before he had the chance. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 11, 2004 I said they died fatigued.....it's only a joke anyway Yuri ofcourse can't kill them without support. That's his weakness. But, as I said before, it's impossible that there is only three of them in a war, there must be other mind-contorolable units. There is always a way to solve problem. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 11, 2004 But, it's impossible that a player will only use a hero without any other units in a war isn't it Nope. I've used Tanya to sneak into a base and blast everything she can b4 she gets killed. Then commence with a main attack. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Hahahahahahaha, that only apply to noobs, not to me. I'm YURI Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Geez, why not just marry him already? Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Nahh....whatever you say, I respect Yuri for his super nationalist emotion for Mother Russia. Share this post Link to post
General Leang 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Until he stabs them in the back a third of the way through Red Alert. That 'the commander is a traitor to the Soviet cause' rethoric he spouts in Yuri's Revenge I am sure is just to sway those under his command. The most loyal Soviet character I can think of is probably Zofia. Share this post Link to post
J-Fire_Man 0 Posted December 11, 2004 Well, I think that Yuri's nationalism to the Soviet is higher than Romanov or Zofia. The reason he betray Romanov is becuase he thinks that Romanov isn't powerfull enough to rebuild the Soviet empire. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted December 11, 2004 I'm thinking that they were all had a pretty strong sense of nationalism for their country... however, in the spirit of the historical communist Russian leaders, their focus was their own personal power. If Yuri were truly in it for Russia, why would he try to mind control the entire planet and put them all under his power? Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted December 11, 2004 hey Gazdude (nice name): shut up. I'm sorry if what I write doesn't have enough explosions to grab your attention. I really am. If so, you are more than free not to read. You could also consider trying to expand your laughable intelect. Either way, please keep in mind this great quote: "It is better to not to speak and appear ignorant than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted December 11, 2004 Girls girls... Settle.... It is very obvious that Yuri is a back stabbing traitor... And as such should be shot.... Share this post Link to post
