Throwback Thursday for 28th September

Recommended Posts

Today's Throwback Thursday goes back to C&C's very own time lord - the Chrono Legionnaire from Red Alert 2. This tier 3 infantry unit could completely disable an enemy unit or structure until it is completely phased out of time. However, its teleportation device (Chronosphere technology adapted to be non-lethal to humans) had a major drawback - the longer the distance a Chrono Legionnaire had to travel, the longer it took for him to fully phase in at his destination, leaving him completely helpless and vulnerable to enemy fire until the phasing process was complete, which could be bypassed by "hopping" through shorter distances. As a bonus, half of the copies of the Red Alert 2 Collector's Edition came with pewter figurines of the Chrono Legionnaire (the other half were Tesla Troopers).

Remember, you can click on the preview to see a larger and more detailed image. Don't forget to check out the Throwback Thursdays archives if you've missed a week. Check back again next Thursday for another Throwback. Send in your ideas for future instalments. We also encourage you to share this on social media using the hash tags #ThrowbackThursday, #CnCTBT and #CNCNZTBT.
