Greetings All,

So whats new? Its been many years since I've been here or looked at the community. I'm a different person these days compared to when I left some 6 odd years ago.

Trying to find my way around again. Who is still here?

Not many of us left in forums in general :/ Everything's moved to Discord and Reddit, and even then not much is going on most of the time.

As far as the franchise goes - since you left, we got a combined remaster of TD and RA1 in 2020, with an actual source code release. Just this month, pre-TibWars games made it to Steam. Several fan tools got made or tweaked, active mods are not as plentiful as before but the heavy hitters are still live and kicking. A lot happened, but there was so much dead air in between that it doesn't much feel like it.

There is also the Tencent abomination Red Alert Online.

C&C perhaps would have been better left dead than to see that horror in the light of day.

Someone forgot to mention that Tempest Rising in 2025 might save the C&C IP and its franchise from the brink of death, but only if EA could see that.

I am still here, just posting more in Revora forums than here.

Actually Tempest Rising that got me thinking about C&C more again and also leading to me logging back in. I don't have much freetime but have enjoyed Tempest Rising so far. Been dipping in and out of GenEvo for Generals too.
