idea for a game. td vs ra

ok this has most likely been said but im on a phone jack so i cant really check, anyways my idea is to modify red alert 1 and tiberian dawn into one game, with all four forces allies, sovietts, nod and gdi.

 

 

well just thought it would be a good mod, i have a storyline that is the result of a chronosphere acciedent (tanya and havoc will meet in combat) afterwards the gdi and allies join forces, ect, ect so i need the materials(good unit importing and creating device for either game, good campaign maker, and a good unit craetor device). when i am not tired as hell i will tell out the whole storyline.

 

 

until i feel like coming back :wink:

Though it would be a pretty big task to fit in four seperate sides and balance in em' all....

not a bad idea dude... you could also have GDI and Nod vs. the Soviets and Allies- true C&C vs RA

 

either way sounds cool :P

so your are seriously telling me that no one has done this before? whoa, i wanted to get the idea across but i thought that mabye someone did it and i wuz gunna get yelled at for ripping off an idea i never knew existed...... happened before :lol:

well it was also my original idea aswell, we just bolth origanally had it in two seperate parties :?

 

 

so now for some good modding programs...

At one time Westwood said something about Red Menace(RA2.vs.TS)

Somebuilds an RA vs CNC mod, Iwill be right there with ya. At least the online gaming part(when I get my cable fixed) But seriosly, the ideas got merit. Maybe different game modes for multiplayer

ect... :P

umm.... nah :shock:

That would be way too far. It's best to stick to previously existing sides...

 

It would be amazing to see a mod with the Allies and Soviets of RA1 and RA2, coupled with Nod and GDI from TD and TS. They should definitely be seperate sides though. GDI and Allies as a team? That just wouldn't work. How would that even balance? It would just be way too many units...

Cabals Core Defender and Obelisk of Darkness/Cabal's Obelisk would own all. Almost.

Cabal Obelisk ain't that powerful, a pack of disruptors own it. But then again, a pack of disruptors own practically everything. And the Obelisk of Darkness should be in the game, a real cool air defense, and not too powerful if you make it cost about $2000.

The Core defender... it just should be as a last resort or something, in the beginning of the CABAL campaign. As intro you see GDI/Nod screwing up your base, then you have to destroy theirs with your newly made core defender.

Or you see the undeployed version in the wreckage, then it begins to deploy with GDi/Nod troops backing away, while firring, then its fully deployed and goes a-blasting.

 

Maybe latter on in a Cabal campaign (or all of them for that matter) GDI and Nod would develop an anti Core Defender weapon, rendering the Core Defender somewhat useless.

i remember killing the coredfender with a few banshees as NOD. when i was GDI, i sent legions of orca bombers, like 15, and they couldn't take it out. then i brought in 5 disruptors...still no luck. the thing didn't have a health bar when i was playing as GDI....

Did you mod at all before you started the campaign?

 

The easiest way to kill is to get about 100 artillery acroos a bridge, then repair the brigde and put a harvester on the other side, the Core defender will start comming, then have the harvester run to the other side and beyond, and when the Core defender gets in range, the artillery will be blasting, not even hitting it, but when its on the bridgen the artillery will blast the brigde and it will sink. Enen if it doesnt have a health bare, it should still be destroyed.
