Strange stratagies

That leaches the challenge out of the game though.

You should go one on one with someone with the same changes, and see what happens.

no it wasn't easy. the computer had the same changes. I LOST! They overswarmed me with so many apocops and rhinos, it wasn;t funny. I had many kirovs faster, so my base was mincemeat. there were 50 borises in my base since i allowed unlimited heroes

that' couldn't been hard... i mean... seriously.. just make tons and tons of war factory and then mass produce.. you can fend off those apocs no problem... unless you're slow...

having more than 1 WF does not change your build time. if cost = 100, u need 3 keep units coming out equal to their build time. Any more does not affect. They were sending so many. U try it. get the rules ini. change cost=100, and time to build 1000 = 1. Now play against several brutal and see how inane it is

correct. i find it funny when playing online people have like 6 war factories..

You don't need 6. when the price i 100, the rate that they come out is matched by 3 WFs. I tried it, Any less, will result in the tanks not coming out, even when it builds, unless u change the deploy time. 6 is too much, on;y need 3. And when there are no changes, than u only need 1

for kirovs, i meant i made them faster, and with double armor. I was going to use them myself, but the emeny got a whole bunch out. I was so surrounded that even thought buildings were 100 cost, a soon as 1 came out, they blew it up.

do you need the ini file, i can give it to u with the price changes already made

Sounds tougher than I thought. You should post a link in the files for your massproduction .ini.

lol... and imagine when you play it on a very fast computer... the ones that makes kirov airship looks fast.. be ready to be owned...

I'll just hop in my fleet of elite Aegis Cruisers and run, thank you.

how about in no water zone? lol... besides... the enemy would send armies at you before you get to battle lab... it is that fast... and scary...

Sometimes I wonder, how does the AI get such a huge army when youve barely got your radar up and have been pumping tanks and infantry the whole time?

they're building a building and unit in the same second while humans players have to click on the building to build it, then on a unit, etc.

that's partially the reason... sometimes they skip prerequisites... i mean they make mirage tanks when their battle lab got destroyed... flak troopers when the radar is not up... and i think they get more cash in the beginning...

See if you notice this:

Whenever the Yuri AI builds miners or powerplants, it places two at the same time!?! How can this be?!?

i don't know.. there is a lot of bugs with the AI... like i think they get more money at the beginning...

That isn't a bug. The computer gets extra money and doesn't have to worry about the tech tree. This is so they actually stand a chance against a human opponent. Else they'd get their asses kicked everytime...

Even though they do. :D

Sad AI. Its only half decent in the missions because its base and forces are already built. Still unfair for n00bs though.

Oh well........ 8)

The AI gains an extra money boost depending on their difficulty.

If you happen to destroy the AI's Battle lab. If they were in the middle of scripting a team that contain a unit normmally unbuildable without it, they will build that unit anyways.

The AI could build two slave miners at one time. One from the building tab and one from the unit tab. You can do this as well.

As for the powerplants... If you gave the AI the ability to create another warfactory, MCV, barracks, and/or airport they will create buildings or defences twice as fast than normal.

The game's engine was set up to try to combat the human mind. Though it's not that good... some modders have.

cool... that's why ai are harder than normal... don't forget that they don't have the "clicking/scrolling" stall in between building units and such... they think it up immediately and build it... and construct another building immediately after clicking... fun eh? wish i could do that

You could mod to do that, its fairly simple.

What I've seen the AI do is place two slave miners like buildings, one does not come out of the war factory.

I find it funny how the AI isn't very adept to making the most of terrain. Especially when it comes to base building. What's funny is to see a few Rhino/Lasher/Grizzley tanks either sitting still with their turrets spinning round, or the exactly opposite. Hi-****ing-larious.

Even better when their infantry are spinning circles

I nuked em just for a little entertains ment, too bad they dont spin circles when dying.

*laughs* That would be funny if they did. I especially like it when you have 10 garrisoned Initiates and a line of conscripts comes charging your way..
