What are your favorite all time old games? Doesn't have to be C&C, can also be DOS games.

 

Mine?

2 DOS Games, Tyrian and OMF2097.

And later on C&C of course

My fav old retro games are

 

Spectrum :

Manic Miner, Journeys end, jetman, and Election.

 

Atari :

Pacman and Besrker.

 

NES : Zelda, Mario Bros 3 and Solar Jetman

[Saracen 16]

Jetpack, wonderboy, Anything C64, spectrum etc

 

best thing they've released recently though is all the old Sonic the Hedgehog games on the PS2/X-Box absolute brilliance... I still kick ass at them even now.. :wink:

Sonic 3 & Knuckles = best platformer every!

Sonic Adventure is pretty damn cool too - SA2 and Sonic Heros just don't cut it by comparison.

Which ones the old sonic games megadrive games or the gamegear ones?

 

The Disc has all of them from both Systems. According to the box it has Twenty titles on it. Although there are only 13 to begin with, you have to unlock titles such as Sonic 3 & Knuckles...

 

I just hope Sonic CD is in there too to be unlocked. It was a sleeper title but in my mind it is one of the best Sonic titles to date.

 

I'm playing the collection in a minute, but I have no idea how you are supposed to unlock extra games... Unless you have to collect all the Chaos Emaralds in each game... Other than that I aint got a clue how you can do it.

There are loads of comic book covers, movies and artist drawings in there too so if your a Sonic fan like me this disk is heaven. Another good thing is that these games are unaltered. All the little bugs and graphical glitches are still in these games, and I still know the cheats to these games, so it's cool to still be able to use them

Sorry to disapoint you but Sonic CD is not on the collection disk. It was my favourite sonic game especialy if you had the pal version of it as opposed to the pc or US version as it had better music.
