Forum Errors (Updated Information Posted)

Yeah at the time of me posting this the speed is very fast, and a good response time to. The main forum index loaded quick so did the main page of CNCNZ.com.

 

I'm no expert when it comes to servers but I guess it just time to sort out the problems.

Personally I think it is at its worst state ever... I'm really struggling to post anything, or even visit a page since the error pops up at least 7 times out of every 10. Even the main page is not showing the "From the Forums" section correctly at all times now saying that "From the Forums is currently unavailable"!!!

 

It's really beginning to annoy me now... What was that Robin said about a server move? :roll:

I disabled the code that generate the "LiveWire News" and the "From the Forums" links for now so at least the main page loads faster.

 

Robin said the site had moved to a new faster server but nothing has changed, speed wise etc.....

 

C&C King, check your email, we may have a good solution.

Another update for you all.

 

Things should be much better now. Gaming Source e-mailed me this morning about it.

Things may have been a little sketchy over the past week but I'm 90% sure we've stablised the server and people should find access times/MySQL response to be much better than before.

I've been on the forums for over an hour now is going great. I'm still monitoring the situation though.

 

If you notice slow speeds or errors again please repy here or e-mail me personally.

We have kick started our plans to make a server move in the next few days. This will eliminate the problem we have been having.

 

Nothing will be lost in the move either.

I'm glad it is, I've had 47 errors (and counting) just posting a new webmaster wire thread, to getting to posting at this point. I've never seen it so bad.... There are a few things in my mind at the moment.. which I shall explain in pictorial form..

The Phbp-thingy errors strike back. They're starting to get bad again. And the forums are getting slow after 3 days of glory.

Quite strange really, I think it depends on internet traffic in a particular part of the work... where you are having trouble loading these forums right now, mine is lightning fast.. very strange indeed :?
