Hidden Places

Recommended Posts

I wonder if any of you ever gone to a secret or hidden place. I once found a hidden place at the outskirt of my city. It was the remains of Dutch colonialism and the VOC. Me and my friends found out that it was a bunker to hide when a serious rebellion occured. We found some Dutch texts which we can't read  But we found that the bunker was made at 1873 it might be made by Deandels, it's a pretty historical place. We don't go further to the inside of the bunker, because it looks so creepy. We took some picture and then get ourself out of the bunker. A nice and rare experience I got that time. I never thought such place is still exist.

So, how about you guys? Have you ever found a hidden place?

I was at a state park and found a hidden spring with a couple of my friends that wasnt on the map. It was one of about 7 that was discovered by accident in that park. We even named it Badger's Head Springs, but the park authorities just named it Badger spring. Kinda neat though

lol, interesting.

I remembered that I once got inside a creepy abandoned manor. It was a very old rusty manor with many spider webs, just like in a horror movie. We explored the manor until evening and then we found an interesting thing, an underground storage room. Lots of creepy things there. But we didn't stay there for a long time, because dark is coming, and we don't want to explore things that might have traps.

I remember on an old school camp up in the southern alps we found this old house.. We trashed it... :haha: .... Though it must have been at least 60 years old huh... Wasn't anything in it... But yeah... It was kinda spooky...

lol, I love breaking into rusty old abandoned houses. Very fun. I'm trying to find more creepy places in my town. There are still many places which are still mistery, including my city's palace which was made by Rafless. I heard there are many underground pasages below the palace, I really want to explore that place but whenever I tried to get in, the guard always keep me off from the palace.

There is a difference between exploring and tresspassing.. :haha:

Yup....but since it's abandoned and empty, it's ok I think. Exploring and trespassing can't be seperated. You will need to ilegally trespass things sometimes when you explore. Exploring things really gives me a life. Next, I want to explore the mountain near my city, finding the forgotten cultures of my country.

I'd be careful.. There is nothing like having an angry farmer chasing you with a pitchfork... After a bit of fishing.. :D

lmao, I haven't been angered by anyone except my mother when exploring things even through illegal ways. Besides, I never mess up with farmers, sometimes, they can become a dangerous people.

Yeah, quiksand can be nasty. Even when its shallow. Especially when it swallows 3/4 of the tires on your Jeep. Had to use wooden planks and get out and push to get out of that mess.

Yes, I have thought about that, but the problem is, I forgot where did I put the paper with the text I copied from the bunker. I found some Dutch and Japanese texts there, I guess the Japanese army have found it first before me :) And I found some old posters :D the famous A3 propaganda and some Dutch propagandas, and once again I can't read them except the A3, it was written in Indonesian.

I will post the Dutch text here when I found it.

Geez......my house storage room is very dusty, and there are lots of old papers everywhere. It will took me quite some time to find the dutch text I copied. While the photos, I don't took any from the bunker, me and my friend didn't bring any camera that time because actually we are on a walk around the city that time, not to explore hidden things. I will go back to the bunker later to take some pics.
