Revenge of the Sith

Recommended Posts

For those of you who live sheltered lives and dont know anything about whats going on in the world, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith came out yesterday (or this morning at 12:01 AM depending on how you look at it). I was pretty disappointed, but still thought is was a good movie. What're your thoughts?

There were some really disappointing costumes there. One guy was Princess Leia, some stormtrooper , numerous 10 year-old kids with sabers. Horrible. At Episode I and II there were people dressed as Ewoks and Wookies. No such luck this time. :(

FYI, Here, the people are all adults.

We had a full suit Darth Vader along with a squad of storm troopers

No 10-year olds. ALL ADULTS/ TEENAGERS (like 16+)

The newspaper had a photo of the Vader sitting on a bench outside reading a newspaper.

Big serious fanbase here

The funniest costume had to be 'Darth Prep' as I called him. He had an Abercrombie shirt, nice jeans, and a Vader mask on. It was hilarious.

*Spoiler Alert*... Maybe ...

My rating for the movie was a thumbs up. It had a lot of loose ends to tie up. Some parts I almost fell asleep at, then some parts were very interesting. I wish the action parts were longer and the ****ing camera was zoomed back so I can see what the hell is going on. Were they trying to focus on a zit on somebody's face or something? Seemed they kept throwing extra's into the shot. It would be ok if they seemed real or part of the sequence and not just there for flash. More of Vader would have been good. It's it was cool to see how he came to be but I would of liked to see him in action in the suit. In all it was amusing to watch, Though I know so much cannot be put into the movie because of time. Though I'm told a TV series might be coming out for the gaps.

My rating system is based out of four results...

1. High-Five

2. Thumbs Up

3. Thumbs Down

4. The Finger

*Real Spoiler Here*

Though I question did come up after the movie. Later on when Luke asked Leia: "How do you remember your mother"? Leia Replied: "She seemed Sad" How could she have known? Unless she referred to her step mother.

There have been a grand total of 0 people in Star Wars related costumes round here, and frankly I'm not suprised.

1. It's just sad,

2. If anyone did dress up I'm sure they'd get beaten up.

Me and a friend were dualling with 1:1 scale replicas. They cost between £80-£500 each. Me and my mate were bashing the hell out of these things!! The 2 we had were about £600 of official replica... They are virtually indestructable... top stuff!! :D

On the mention of Star Wars... Download the E3 tailer recording of Petroglyph's Empire at War below... I'm definately getting this... but the only trouble, such is the old Legacy of Westwood, is that it has been drafted to early 2006
