Make a Movie!

Recommended Posts

as suggested, i moved this to a seperate topic... the idea is we all make a movie using our webcams! (for all those that have them lol)

first really we need to find someone who can edit video together and create special effects...

then we need a definate plot and finally actors

Post if you've got any skill with movie editing, acting (+webcam) ability, or plot ideas... just remember also though that since this is a silly movie thing i doubt there will be any full-on sfx stuff...

Though maybe we could use in-game filming if we act out some stuff...

For example, someone acting as a hero, we could make a hero mod in Generals then film the edited character shooting enemy infantry and the like... switching between game footage and real-time.

All ideas welcome n.n

flash vids would be welcome too

it doesnt even have to have an ovverall plot, we could just make a bunch of "cutscenes" with us people in them

true true... lots of lil comedy sketches. if we could get people making their own GDI/NOD/soviet/allied war fatigues we could have something going here :P

what i originally meant was for one full on remotely serious movie which we'd all help make, but the comedy scenes would be easier and funnier =3

Hrm..I could try and get some in-game cut-scenes, but that will take time. But I'm in all the same!

hehe yey another one xD the hard part is gonna be getting costumes made for any NOD soldiers : i mean the others are fairly easy (allies/GDI = military stuff, soviets = trenchcoat and winter stuff) but nod is all fancy PVC an stormtrooper type gear :P

I can get a good Soviet Infantry costume together by borrowing from some friends. I used it a couple years ago for a party, dont know where I'll get a new gun for it though.

if you can't get one they shouldn't be too hard to make prop wise... even if it's cardboard, plastic or wood... if it looks realistic, why can't it be used? :P

personally methinks we should stick to RA2 type stuff... soviet costumes are fairly easy to pull together at short notice, as are US infantry with the latest military fashion craze... also real WW2/cold war stuff is easy to get if you've got a lil spare cash ^^

brilliant ^^; an i guess gunner is in on some level since he totally copied this subject in the generals area... ¬_¬;

everyone who is taking part, get costumes ready then post basically all the character types you can pull off with your costume collection. once we've got a few character types to work with we can think up some mini-plotlines and if this really takes off we can make it into a full movie :)

so far i count one generic soviet infantry, one generic US infantry and a possible arabic unit (trader or rebel? unless the plot twists towards generals/ZH historical reference somewhere along the line)

I have a Star Wars outfit.... that had nothing to do with C&C.

i'll edit voices, and add in premade voices so in some cases, there might be just moving lips

I can help too. I'm quite good at video editing. But, I don't have a webcam or a digital camera. That's why I only edit movies and animes

I have complete softwares for video editing, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, VirtualDub Mod, WinMPG video converter, etc. So, maybe I can join with you. THis sounds fun.

we now have plenty of editors to deal with everything :)

problem is we still need actors x_X; eeesh

Simple. We dont need costumes that much. We just need 1 set of each costume. We have actors act without costumes, and use the computer to edit the acting

Since J-Fireman's got all those programs, maybe he can use them to put the costumes onto the actors.

J-Fireman, how good are u with computer graphics?

yey more actors XD now we just need a plot and a script. ideas anyone?

normally i'd complain about using CGI but lets be honest, this isn't gonna be a multi-billion action adventure is it? lol i'll take what i can get... heck maybe if we pull this off it might become net-famous like the AYB thing, numa numa dance or the wazzup stuff XDDD
