Our DVD player is broken, I asked my parents if we could get a PS2 instead, and all I got was a firm "NO!!"

 

Despite the fact that PS2 can play Cds and DVDs, its cheaper than a "normal" DVD player, and they have a better track record for durability.

Just save up and buy one anyway. That's what my dad was like when me and my brother wanted a PS2. But we saved up and got one ourselves anyway. Also that is what my dad was like when I told him I was building my computer. But I just went ahead and did it. It's not like they can take something off of you that you bought with your own money. And if they did, well, find out where they locked it up and take it back from them!

On a more present note, I'm gonna be trading in my PS2 for a PSP, it simply kicks the Nintendo DS into touch with power and graphics... And the games look and feel so much better than the DS, they play better than the DS as well :wink:
