Guest Rabbit Posted August 28, 2005 Another useless thread. You are new here so I will not go crazy on you... You can find music for CnC games everywhere. There is CnC music on this site, and you can find it by even searching on google. Here is one link, and it should get you to all the tiberian Dawn music. Sorry if this doesn't work. You should find all the songs if you scroll down a little bit (by the way, I posted those individual links there myself, but to see where they came from, just copy them) Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted September 17, 2005 or what is easier, and you get more music that way, is use the XCC utilities to extract it all from your games. Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted September 18, 2005 Or what is harder, but gets you the very best quality... go over to http://frankklepacki.com and fin some way to rip em from the Flash menu. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted September 19, 2005 It's easy; CnCWorld! We have loads of high-quality MP3s I extracted direct from the games: Tiberian Dawn: http://www.cncworld.org/downloads/pafiledb...egory&id=22 Sole Survivor: http://www.cncworld.org/downloads/pafiledb...egory&id=52 Red Alert: http://www.cncworld.org/downloads/pafiledb...egory&id=24 Share this post Link to post
Rusty Le Cyborg 0 Posted September 19, 2005 CD I noticed that your SS tracks are not named. Just in case people do not know what they are I've written a list. The name of the aud file is in brackets... Track 1 - Crush SS (CRUSHSS) Track 2 - Workmen Remix (WORKRMX) Track 3 - Depth Charge SS (CHARGESS) Track 4 - Hell March Remix (HELLREMX) Track 5 - Iron Fist SS (FISTSS) Track 6 - No Mercy 98 (MERCY98) Track 7 - Mud Remix (MUDREMIX) Track 8 - Drill SS (DRILLSS) Track 9 - Creeping Upon SS (CREEPSS) You are also missing the Menu music. But it's not so inspiring! Menu SS Cheers for now <edit> Actually, I'm not entirely sure the track names are in the right order. The names I have put against each track are correct, but I could have sworn that Hell March was Track 5 on my CD. I shall investigate! <edit2> Okay. I've listened to my SS CD in a CD player and have deduced that - The first number is the number from your site, the second is the actual CD track number. 1 - 2 2 - 9 3 - 3 4 - 5 5 - 6 6 - 7 7 - 8 8 - 4 9 - 1 Cheers!!! Nyerguds 100 Posted September 19, 2005 It's easy; CnCWorld! We have loads of high-quality MP3s I extracted direct from the games Problem there... the ones in the games are NOT high-quality. WW's AUD format is mono sound at 44050 Hz. The ones on Frank's site are near-CD quality. Share this post Link to post
chickendippers 1 Posted September 20, 2005 Thanks for that Rusty, I've updated the track names Share this post Link to post
Rusty Le Cyborg 0 Posted September 20, 2005 No worries. Happy to help. Cheers for now Share this post Link to post
Rusty Le Cyborg 0 Posted September 28, 2005 chickendippers!! Nyerguds brought something to my attention He used MMLite and found the "real" aud names from within the SS files. I think the aud names I used where what I used to use!! The basic tracknames are correct (ish) though as most are remixes of standard songs. DEPTHCHG.AUD, CREEPING.AUD, CRSHNVOX.AUD, DRILL.AUD, MUDREMX.AUD, HELLNVOX.AUD, IRONFIST.AUD, MERCY98.AUD, WORKREMX.AUD, MAP1.AUD The "nvox" bit is a new find, I guess it refers to vocals... By the way, if you fancy the tracks from Red Alert: Retaliation just let me know. They are a mix of Standard Red Alert ones and the Sole Survivor ones... ...and here is my favourite "RA" track of all time, taken from the RA soundtrack CD - "No Mercy" in a Pulp Fiction Style!!! Cheers for now Share this post Link to post
Woofna 0 Posted September 29, 2005 Act on instinct is the best friggin song ever to be on a video game... Thank god for Frank! Share this post Link to post
