Best game of the Year

Well the year is almost out... Well almost and I don't think there are that many new games that are going to be the **** due...

 

So what do you think was in your own little humble opinion the game of the year.. For this year.. 2005?

 

I would think that BF2 was pretty high on the contender list...

its a toughy, tbh not many games this year have acutally made a lasting impression on me. BF2 was good, but not fantastic. I'm looking foward to Starship Troopers, but thats only cuz i liked the film. So i wud have to say that so far BF2 is the best.

I'd imagine Burnout Revenge will sneak in and take it.. reviews of the game already give it good contention. Not that I'll get to play it. I have a PSP now :wink:

I'm still going to think that WipEout Pure will always be better than BF2..so nyah.

BF2 is quite good... Though it's too early to judge, there are 3 more months to go before January 1, 2006...

Burnout Legends rocks... top stuff, good classic burnout mix in that game.. top stuff...

 

I dunno why some people are unsure of the PSP... in the UK it has sold more units in the first few weeks than any other games console ever in this country... Everybody loves it, and although it's not quite as powerful as the PS2, it is one hell of a powerful machine for a handheld... well worth the money!!

 

Me and a friend are going AD-HOC in the Burnout Legends pursuit mode Tuesday lunchtime... we're aiming to convert a few people at work to buy a PSP

I just played my neighebors PSP

 

pretty nifty for a handheld game system. But i dont think Ill buy one anytime soon.

Hmm.....I don't play much 2005 games, so by far it's Cold Fear. It's a good horror game like RE. But the monster just looks boring in the end. But the first stage is so cool, playing on the boat when the storm raging over.

Best game released this year...have fallen in love with Lockdown and Resident Evil 4, if you were judge games in the past 12 months then Sims 2 would win it hands down.
