Cygnus X-1 12 Posted January 8, 2006 most of the time the Kitchen closest to me has very limited options, but the one near my friend's house has some amazing shtuffs  anyone have a fav restaurant ? like a real sit down and eat place ? UNO's Chicago Bar and Grill is amazing place to eat, not too expensive either (started in chicago, now in many cities) Share this post Link to post

Cygnus X-1 12 Posted January 9, 2006 Macaroni grill was alright when I went, (like 5 years ago) but outback is goood stuff. BBQ all around Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted January 9, 2006 Macaroni Grill is good stuff, but Outback? Well yeah, I guess it does belong in this fast food thread  Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted January 9, 2006 lol macaroni grill is one o my altime faves.....you can make your own pasta dish...SO GOOD but outback i jus like the bloomin onion Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted January 9, 2006 Outback... Yah, had a bad experience with them, lets just say we got a free dinner for all of us and we didn't tip the waiter. Now a BBQ place I love is Tony Roma's. http://www.tonyromas.com/files/home.asp That have the absolute best BBQ sause, and I am not that big on BBQ sause. Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted January 9, 2006 O Boy's here in Orlando is awesome for BBQ... and so is the chain, Sonny's for that matter. I have to admit that I really don't like Outback at all. It's just overpriced, low quality steak... and I LOVE good steak. A good rule of thumb is that if you want to use steak sauce on your steak, it's just no good. A1 is of the devil. :strain: Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted January 9, 2006 A1 is of the devil. :strain: Thank you! Finally I met someone that hates A1! Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted January 9, 2006 HOLY CRAP do i love steak....Outback steak SUX...but that darn bloomin onion...mmmmmm i like shell steaks and skirt steaks...homemade usually comes out best...jus how i like it.... this past summer..EVERYDAY..steaks...then beer....o man not much better than that speaking of fast food tonite i had domino's...cheesy bread is pretty dam good...and cinnamon stix... Cygnus X-1 12 Posted January 9, 2006 best stakes I've ever had were cooked over open fires at various locations around the country, including 3 from a BBQ pit that was rigged to a 41FT sailboat man was THAT a good meal Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted January 10, 2006 YES Cygnus. There's a place in northern California, near Pismo, that is in the middle of nowhere, but probably the best steakhouse I've EVER been to. It's called Jocco's... real cowboy place. Everything is cooked outside over an open fire, and it's easily the best, most tender steak I've ever had TSBO, I'm very, very glad that you agree. A1, and all steak sauce for that matter, is probably the worst stuff on the face of the earth. Good steak can stand on its own! Sauce only subtracts from it's wonderful, savory goodness..... Yeah redasblood, the bloomin onion is okay.... but I really don't see why that would sell the restaraunt. An appetizer shouldn't be the one strong card of a restaraunt  Maybe if their steak was halfway decent, or the price was more reasonable (for the quality of beef)....... ...and yes, who could forget pizza. Now THAT'S good food- cheap, simple, and satisfying. Papa John's rocks, Pizza Hut is pretty good, and Dominoe's is... tolerable Then of course there are those local mom & pop places with just one location.... they can be amazing You may notice that I'm rambling and drooling a lot. It's because I haven't eaten in 6 days now. No, it's not a diet, and no I'm not fasting. It's because I've got a major problem with my throat, and I can't swallow for probably a few more days. It's kinda like an ulcer in my esophagus that was caused by an antibiotic I was taking. Imagine getting kicked in the crotch every time you tried to swallow something. Yeah. It sucks.
