Riparius 0 Posted March 6, 2006 This popped into my head when reading Acerz492-s hunt for a new case... Do you like the outside of your comp to be or the inside? -well both of course, but which comes first? Share this post Link to post
GeneralZ 0 Posted March 6, 2006 My definition of beauty is that 320gb hardrive, 2gb ram,3.6mhz attached to the best motherboard money can buy, dual geforce 512mb video cards, and that 200$ sound card inside the tower Share this post Link to post
Guest MadBadger Posted March 6, 2006  who gives a damn about the outside!!! ohh and Zee you forgot the fact its all gota be water cooled Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted March 6, 2006 Since I don't have a fancy see through case I don't care what it looks like inside... Or outside for that matter... GeneralZ do you have dual 512 vid cards in your rig? Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted March 6, 2006 **** the exterior design. I'll stick with pimping the **** out of the components I use. Share this post Link to post
Masked Shah 5 Posted March 6, 2006 Inside... What good is a compy that looks pimped out if it plays like ****? yes I said ****.... wahahahahahaha Share this post Link to post

Inferno 22 Posted March 7, 2006 Why not dual X1900 XTX 512MB with Crossfire? Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted March 7, 2006 I think both are important. There's not much point in having mint components if the case looks like crap. Glad I inspired ya to think things over a tad, Riparius. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted March 7, 2006 Why not dual X1900 XTX 512MB with Crossfire? Well in the UK... ATi > nVidia In the States... nVidia > ATi Its mostly pricing that does that, but I like nVidia. I got a BFG GeForce 7800 GT OC(Just love saying that!) and before that a GeForce. Never had a problem with em. Had a problem with ATi and... Yeah... Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Well, to be more specific, Top of the Line: ATI X1900XTX > nVidia 7800 GTX and I can attest to this  Oh but yeah, as far as SLI goes, nVidia still holds the edge there. ATI has the best single card solution. Share this post Link to post
Cygnus X-1 12 Posted March 8, 2006 Since I have been dealing with inner crap for years, I'll settle for inner beauty anyday. However, as for the case....I got lots of stickers  for those of you who dont know (yes I love b!ting about my comp) Intel = inner suicide. nuff said there. Share this post Link to post
rEdaSbLood 1 Posted March 8, 2006 in that case im roadkill... i think im gonna upgrade my ram...n maybe processor depending on how much each costs.. i got single lane (or w/e) RAM 256-want dual channel 512..shud do and 2.0 ghz intel pent 4 i think...-want a 2.5 amd Share this post Link to post

Riparius 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Glad I inspired ya to think things over a tad, Riparius. I'm not sure I got it But this isn't against your search for a modded case (damn I somehow knew this would happen). Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Yeah dude, seriously..... outdated benchmark from a questionable source. We're talking about the new GPUs... the X1900XTX vs the 7800 GTX. Share this post Link to post
Inferno 22 Posted March 9, 2006 Okay.... I only took a few benchmarks... there are more that also point out ATI is simply better. Link: http://www.hardware.info/reviews/ATI_Radeo..._Serie_Test/626 Share this post Link to post

Cygnus X-1 12 Posted March 10, 2006 I just looked up my system specs. They arent terrible, cept for the graphics card. HD could be better... MS Windows XP Pro Sp2 Intel® integrated graphics chip (with no friggin T&L cappability: thats essential for all games nowadays) CeleronCPU(Intel) 2.4GHz 760MB RAM Share this post Link to post
