Sonic 296 Posted May 10, 2006 Apart form C&C3 at E3 what other games are you following? As an Xbox 360 owner I wanted to get the latest news on Halo 3, a new teaser trailer was released in various formats. Here is the direct download link to a small/low res version of it. Cool video While I was browsing the Xbox Live Marketplace I spotted the new Splinter Cell Double Agent HD trailer. Holy **** are the words that game to mind for this game. I can't wait for this one to hit stores in September. Watching the preview for this new Splinter Cell game makes it look nothing like the other 3, its in stark contrast to Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Sam Fisher looks tougher, meaner.... basically gone rogue as the name implies.... he's a double agent playing both sides now. Awesome new environments like snow and out in broad daylight in the jungle. Simply put Splinter Cell Double Agent will be a must have game!! Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted May 10, 2006 All I care about is Spore, C&C 3, and BF 2142. Even that I do like those games, I don't watch anything on E3, I don't mind getting the news from sites 3 days later. Share this post Link to post
Shocker 0 Posted May 10, 2006 I'm really keen on BioShock--it's a spiritual successor to Looking Glass Studios' System Shock series. Screenies available here. Share this post Link to post
gammyleg 0 Posted May 10, 2006 I only 'follow' C&C, although I definately have an interest in the BF series, so Ill no doubt have a read up through some sites when E3s over. The other game thats piqued my interest is the return of Sam and Max! Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted May 10, 2006 Damm i like that halo 3 video. There have been rumors that Star Wars Battlefront 3 was going to be announced this year but i havent been able to find out if it has been or not. Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted May 12, 2006 Now Spore looks really... interesting. Does anyone know anything specific about it? :? Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted May 12, 2006 New Halo looks like the same Halo. Not too excited. I'm waiting for Nintendo's latest bullsit, the Wii, to hit shelves. I just might spend $200 that I was going to spend on Christmas presents on it. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted May 12, 2006 Gah, I haven't bought a Nintendo console in SOOOO long, I think I am, just for the sake of playing Mario again! Please tell me Nintendo ditched the controller or at least gives you a second option... When is it suppose to be released? I've googled and surpising I've found very little... Love the signature by the way Tree. (Whats the deal with Nintendo and Sony?) Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted May 13, 2006 I did hear that they are planning on release a controler for the more conservative people. I say bugger them though the new controler looks interesting and its suposed to be some much easier with the new controler. People should try it before they call it stupid. I hate when people critisise things before they are released. Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Nintendo is dying. We all know that. They're coming up with something weird and calling it "innovative". You know why other companies haven't followed suit? Because they have some sense. GameCube was a flop. I bought one because I thought it might be alright. But, it sucked. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted May 13, 2006 no because other companies already had their controlers done. Why dont you give it a chance before you critizise it. Share this post Link to post
Tree 0 Posted May 13, 2006 Everything is specualtion right now. I do plan on buying one. If it is any good, I'll retract my previous starements, but it just doesn't look like the "next big thing." Mainly I'm buying one so that I can play all my SNES and NES favorites. Share this post Link to post
Acerz492 1 Posted May 16, 2006 The Burning Crusade. I won't say anything more. I can't frikkin' wait. Share this post Link to post

PolterGeist 0 Posted May 17, 2006 Halo 3 (Of Course, Halo and C&C are my two favorite franchises "SP") BF 2142, though i think Quake Wars is going to be better. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted May 17, 2006 Yeah, supposedly they will be downloadable. Sweet! Share this post Link to post
F15pilotX 4 Posted May 18, 2006 Now Spore looks really... interesting. Does anyone know anything specific about it? :?specific...you got it..here's a few things: About SPORE From the mind of Will Wright, the creator of The Sims, comes SPORE™, an epic journey that takes you from the origin and evolution of life through the development of civilization and technology and eventually all the way into the deepest reaches of outer space. Tide Pool Phase Fight with other creatures and consume them to adjust the form and abilities of your creature. It’s survival of the fittest at the most microscopic level. Creature Phase Venture onto land and help your creature learn and evolve with forays away from your nest. The only way to grow is by taking chances! Tribal Phase Instead of controlling an individual creature, you are now caring for an entire tribe. Give them tools and guide their interactions as you upgrade their state of existence. City Phase Bring your creatures’ race into a new golden era by building up the technology, architecture, and infrastructure of their city. Civilization Phase Once your city is established, your creatures begin seeking out and interacting with other cultures. Make contact with an olive branch or a war cry. The goal for your creatures is to conquer the planet. Space Phase The time has come to move on to other worlds in your solar system. Make contact, colonize, or terraform, then venture further to find other solar systems. A ‘mission’ structure provides new goals in your quest for galactic dominance. videos: Shorter video with better graphics(18 min.) A video that has worse graphics, but is more thorough (30 min.) Dr. Rodney McKay 0 Posted May 19, 2006 I'm going to love the Wii. Why? Because it's new. The PS3 and X360 don't appeal to me, simply because they add very little. Share this post Link to post
TheBlackOut 7 Posted May 19, 2006 I just want to get back to my NES/N64 roots. God, I loved the NES, especially this hockey game, I forgot what it was called, but it was awesome. Share this post Link to post
