Umm.. Spore trees shot out Tiberian.. You harvest Tiberian, aside from the slide discomfort you'd feel initially from it hitting your base, after that, it would be rather nice having a resource field right in the middle of your base.

It shoots out tiberium- That's the point. What if you put it next to his barracks? Since there'll be no cyborgs in tiberium wars (right? I remember reading that somewhere.) all his infantry will die the moment they come out and turn into visceroids which wreck his base. Yay!

 

Yea, he'll probably build a new barracks somewhere else. But it's still a fun thought.

*Comes in after reading the Gamespy article* Interesting, so the aliens (despite shared similarities to the Scrin spaceship, I'm not going call them the Scrin just yet) seeded the world with Tiberium as a cheap way to completely strip mine our planet. Sounds like that race from Independence Day except alot more patient and sneaky about it.
