BWare 0 Posted July 4, 2006 Interesting Alphabear... yeah, I pretty much agree with you there. There are some places in Europe I could see myself living as well, but besides the US (which I'd be crazy to leave), Canada is a decent option... all communistic tendencies aside  Share this post Link to post

BWare 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Business drives everything. English is also considered the universal language of science. But seriously- can you name a single other language that could even come close to being considered universal? Just about every major world leader speaks English. It's a remarkable thing. Tree 0 Posted July 5, 2006 English is also considered the universal language of science. Actually, that's Latin  Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted July 5, 2006 Wrong. It's English. You're confused- many scientific naming conventions are based in Latin, but science's language has been English for hundreds of years. Do you really think that Latin- a dead language- is often used to communicate new ideas and theories? Share this post Link to post

Always? Who told you that? If so, then why is it that nearly ALL international business is done in English? its also the official language of more nations than english. Mandarin is the most spoken language worldwide though It's the official language of more countries? That's kind of a pointless statistic.
