AOL adventures

First off, let me just tell you that I'm not here to advertize, as many of you regulars would definitely know. If you honestly think I'm gonna advertize, ram your head into your computer screen.

Anyway, I decided I'd try out AOL, for old time's sake. I used to have it, I just wanted to see what changes they've made to it.

So, I do. My email on there is ZeeHypnotist, just so you know ^_^

Anyway, I'd like to know if any of you know... Why is it that 95% of AOL users are SINGLE?

Seriously, I went into chat rooms, and in a period of 5 minutes, I hear the following.

1. Hey! All blk girls, give a holla to yur homy and push 123 and ill im you!

2. Any cheerleaders in here? push 666

3. If ur a str8 chick IM ME!!!

4. 14 / m / ca --- ne hott guyz im or email me!!!

5. Hey, any blonde girls, push 007

6. lol, internet

Well, ignore that last one, that was actually from me.

Anyway, I thought I'd actually talk to one of them, even though I'm already taken, just to see what would happen.

This was sometime in the middle of the chat:

ZeeHypnotist: Uhh...

Other Person: So u wanna hang?

ZeeHypnotist: I don't know.

Other Person: why not?

ZeeHypnotist: I just don't know. :-/

Other Person: dun worry, im nota 58 year old, Im hoonestly15

Yeah. Real encouraging.

I also noticed that most AOL users are deprived of internet alltogether.

When asked if people are familiar with quotes such as, "Do a barrel roll," "please dun ban us," and "all your base are belong to us," all I was met with is a simple "No," or a "wtf?"

People are so deprived.

I mean, jeez, I tried asking people if they're familiar with popular YTMND sites, or if they even know what a FORUM is, and what kind of answer do I get?

Another WTF?

Crazy ****! I'll be back soon with more adventures from AOL.

Oh, and may I say, if you are just going to post a reply to this thread saying "Well, I didn't actually read that, but Ok," then you deserve to be banned.

Well, I didn't actually read that, but Ok. :P

You could have possibly entered a chatroom full of morons... Its not necccassarily a proper representation of the majority of AOL users...

But since I've heard all the stories like everyone else...

AOL = Morons. :P

Thats just how it is. ;)

Oh no no no no, it's not like I was only in ONE chat room, I visited around.

Oh, and if you're wondering why I'd be such a dumbass and try AOL in the first place, its because I'm on a computer with Dial Up while I'm on vacation...

its probably because so many people heard of aol and its 'reliability' and watched crap movies involving aol so they're dumb and use it

AOL chatrooms are populated solely by 12 year olds who type by bashing their heads into the keyboard, and the occasional 50 year old predator. It wouldn't waste my time with any more "adventures"

One time I said I was a WWII veteran... And I should really stop now. :)

All the AOL chat rooms I visit have spam bots for porn and crap...

I used to have AOL. What you saw Hypnotist is not the worst. Trust me, AOL is worse than a cesspit.

Oh, yeah, I used to use AOL for 9 years! If you look at my original post, I said I was using it for old time's sake.

And @ Beowulf, you're right, it is fun to pretend to be perverted.

I said to one person "Hey, do you ever go to parks alone at night?"

And @ TSBO,

I actually only go into the teen AOL rooms, but, when I go into the adult ones, I noticed that they've managed to get rid of most of those bots.

One time I went on line as a girl (with a girl-like screen-name and stuff) just to see how it is like to be online as one.

Around 30 minutes into a chatroom, I was horribly e-raped 6 TIMES.

God I am glad I got out of there.

:? Tell more please?

My dad got point at with an Uzzi because he made a joke about running a guys T-bird over because he parked it stupidly behind my dad's big ass work truck. The guy overheard out of his house window and shoved it in my dad's face.

Funny though, my dad looked at him, walked over to the guy's prized T-Bird and went to the other side and yelled, "Dare you to shoot". He didn't call the cops when he got home though. :|

Not to be racist, but my dad said, "I've never seen my workers run that fast". All of his workers were Mexican at that time.

i have AOL...9.0....security edition...

CRAP

actually has slower load times and takes up alot of RAM as well as HD space..

im not exactly in charge of which internet provider is suppose to be used in my family's house....all i use it for is the e-mail and the instant messanger...because im too lazy to open 2 windows (AIM and Firefox) even though they'd be faster...lol

Good first impression he's placed down in the forums, get the guy to introduce himself in the Introduction forum. Considering he's new, that was damn funny. :haha:

He must have noticed CNCNZ as an external link from my site or something, I swear, he doesn't even have a C&C game
