Okay, I've been thinking "Yea, C&C 3 is going to OWN but whats next? What do we have to look forward to after this or will just be like it was in 2004?" so it brings me to this... I hope EA doesn't keep hush hush on the next C&C project after C&C 3 and I hope they tell us straight up what they have in store next. (I ain't counting an expansion to C&C 3 since thats its obvious is gonna come.)

We could either have C&C Renegade 2, C&C 4, C&C Red Alert 3, C&C Generals 2 or a new C&C series which I hope they wouldn't do.

So which one would you want to see? Personally I think C&C Renegade 2 would be awesome. Create a better engine or an improved BF2 engine and put Renegade in it. Renegade's gameplay for a FPS is VERY unique and its VERY enjoyable. Renegade is buggy and isn't on the best of engines so a new one with a better engine and graphics would be awesome!

My vote goes to C&C Renegade 2. But the logical choice is Red Alert 3 I think.

Forget about Generals 2 and that universe. Generals/Zero Hour was a once off game, there is nothing to build on. I've said this before about Generals and I'll say it again....

EA simply created the SAGE engine, they then designed this multiplayer only RTS to use the engine. Oh yeah they slapped together a handful of random single player missions with no storyline and then put the C&C name on the box. Zero Hour was simply all the features that got the chop before Generals went gold.

So where do you get a sequel at of that?

I don't, but some do somehow.

Assuming they don't end the C&C series with this little game. Something new would be refreshing. Nothing wrong with RA3 or something similar. But some new would be nice. ;) Like Generals, but better ya know? ;)

Sry not to post :? . well i just went for c&c 4 because im a great fan of the tiberium universe. btw its obvious that the next game is renegade 2 or RA3.

I think it will be ra3 but renegade 2 would be real cool too  .

Renegade 2 died. It's never, never coming back.

My guess is Red Alert 3. That would be the more logical choice... need to merge the storylines finally.

Has anyone else thought that maybe EA may try and merge the C&C franchise with the Battlefield one? BF2142 does seem to have many simiarities with different C&C aspects. Replace the ice with tiberium for example. And the similarities between BF2 and Generals

i say deffinatly Red Alert 3, but i would love Renegade 2, i wouldn't mind if it used the Battlefield 2142 engine that would be grate for multi player and if they started to create a single player section to it it would be uber oresom, come on look at it this way, EA can make a fortunine of Battlefield, and Make a larger fortuine of Renegade, they dont have much to loose, heck they could even develop them both at the same time.

RA3 after C&C3 is higly probable, IMO. A C&C game, a Ra game, a C&C game, a Ra game, etc. just like Westwood did.

I personally think that there needs to be a new storyline and a new CNC game series, the existing ones are awesome but i want to see something new

King and i both think C&C4 will be next

id rather see a CnC4...esp. since the story requires up to like 6 games or w.e.........plus i like the tiberium universe better...way..

if not then i'd rather see an RA3 or REN2...

Renegade 2 seems dead, HOWEVER, it is a possibility storyline-wize, if you just think of it being mixed in with Tiberian Sun or even Red Alert.

Red Alert 3 can't tie any storyline, cause Red Alert 2 skewed the tie.

Command And Conquer 4 makes sense to keep a storyline going, but doesn't seem like it will be next.

A new series has the huge odd of making things look worse.

So, I really don't know.

lol They {EA} must have run out of resorcefull ideas so eventualy Renegade 2 was cenceled and cnc3 was cenceled two... then i remember Femdom arhh...Freedom figthers of the creators of Hitman to make game set in alternative cold-late war in wich soviets have won...europe in ww2!

and in rengade 2 i remember to sea prism tank... alied. so renegade 2 was pre tiberian-univers.

*btw both games are part of EA

Renegade 2 would be cool. But you can't call it that for the following reasons.

1) Renegade 2 sounds crap. ;)

2) Renegade 2 was cancelled, it would be weird.

3) Screw the Tiberium Universe, (you'll never hear me say that again) go the way for Red Alert. Just like that mod, that would be cool, specially if they used a fancy engine like from BF2 or the like. :)

I positively loved Rengade's engine. I forget what it was (W3D?) but my computer runs it well. I've been playing the superhigh qualitiy games like Doom 3 and Quake 4 and simulation FPS games like AA and Medal of Honor, but going back to the smooth gameplay of Renegade when I reinstalled it was priceless. I think everyone should still use that engine. It's just so smooth. I love the sniping in Renegade without having to account for your soldier wobbling and listen for breathing.

My logical choice would be RA3. They may surprise us with C&C 4. I would LOVE to see Renegade 2 or another FPS based on a CNC game, other than generals. I don't necessarily thing a TibSun FPS would be rejected because Reborn is coming out, nor would a RedAlert FPS be rejected for A Path Beyond. I think a Red Alert 2 FPS is kind of uncharted waters, it would be interesting.

Maybe some odd game like Sole Survivor will pop up to fill a gap between real games.

If i recal correctly the core engine from renegade was the same as what was used in the sage engine

generals was one of there worst games ever ra3 will be next followed by c&c4, renegade 2 wont happen because people still play it but the c&c rts games are ten times more popular and ea want money. if they made ra3 and tied the storylines together hordes of ts and ra2 fans would buy it to find out the storyline.

end of...
