Tree 0 Posted July 27, 2006 I use FireFox for extensions. Opera/IE don't have them. Do I really care if "Firefox and Mozilla are Not for Profit" of it "Firefox has lower System Requirements than Internet Explorer"? The answer: No. It satisfies my needs, and I didn't start using it because of some system requirements claim or a speed test. Share this post Link to post

The answer: No. It satisfies my needs, and I didn't start using it because of some system requirements claim or a speed test. Same reason, but some people care about the things that you don't. Also, I am tired of everyone barking facts that they can't back up about Firefox... When I use IE and Opera, the pages seem to open faster most of the time, but I still like to use Firefox because I've gotten so used to it. Opera is weird. :S Share this post Link to post
BWare 0 Posted July 27, 2006 Opera is my favorite. I've tried just about every other browser out there, and Opera is by far the fastest and most responsive. I was sold on Firefox till I tried it. I'm pretty happy with IE7, and look forward to using it extensively when Vista ships, but for now I'm using Opera almost exclusively. That doesn't make me a "fanboy" Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted July 27, 2006 I prefer to use Firefox. Its just I have a few extensions and such for firefox which either aren't avaiable to IE7 or don't work properly. So I'll stick with Firefox for the mean time. Though I'll have to have another look at IE7 when its out of Beta. Share this post Link to post
Alphabear 11 Posted July 27, 2006 I dont have many extensions with firefox but i like the tabs and how you can open a link without leaving the current page or opening a new window. Not sure how many other browsers have this Share this post Link to post

Sonic 296 Posted July 28, 2006 IE7 is just Microsoft's way to catching up to the other browsers. But I will try it when its officially released. I have Opera installed but I mainly use for testing purposes when I'm working on something for the site and so on. For the record I think CNCNZ.com looks best in Firefox but the drop down menu has nice gradient effect when it opens in IE. On the subject of Firefox, another security related update has been released. If you don't have it yet just go to Help then Check for Updates. Share this post Link to post
