Pretty simple really. A simple little list of the games you are looking foward to in the year 2004.

 

 

 

 

Half Life 2 and a bunch of others like Doom, and in the far far future TT. :cry:

I can safely say "none" as I have no idea which games are coming out. I'm not looking forward to the ones I do know about (Doom, Half-Life 2) as I don't like them.

For 2003 I looked forward to Worms 3D (which is 8) ) and Beyond Good and Evil was a pleasant surprise when I played it

 

This also means I'm not looking forward to the LOTR RTS. I like Lord Of The Rings, but somehow I think the game will be ... unsatisfactory. A bit like Generals perhaps?

I dunno, but these are both new concepts for the Star Wars universe of games. Battlefront is a team based game like Battlefield 1942, with 4 playable sides with vehicles and multiple character classes for each. Republic Commando is apparently going to be the first SW game to get a "M" rating, because it is going to be like Alien vs. Predator - a terrifying FPS experience. As long as the games made are fresh - like Knights of the Old Republic, the best game of 2003 and the best SW game of all time - they can keep making them. Although I'd love to see a new X-wing game based in the expanded universe....

Ummm... KotOR wasn't that good. I actually much prefer XvT to it, and don't understand why Lucasarts hasn't continued it, except for possibly the fact that they targeted Alliance to too young an audience.

As for KOTOR, should I by it? I keep thinking about ordering it but I'm not much of an RPG fan. All the reviews I've seen say its awesome.

I enjoyed the single player side of Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast....should I expect the same thing or something different?

I've never been an RPG fan myself either, but if you can get through the somewhat slow first few hours of gameplay, the storyline takes you over and gets you hooked. It easily was my favorite game last year, and ranks up there among my all-time favorites.

Well I'm either going to get KOTOR or Max Payne 2 in the next week or so. I'm leaning towards Max Payne 2 though, played the demo and I liked it.
