Well if we're doing this for social reasons then I prefer round robin with 1 week timelimit per round, with some sort of criteria to determine point scoring for no shows or schedule issues.

 

But if we want cutthroat rankings then BO3 elimination is okay too.

 

I think the elimination style will lead better to multiple tournaments, rather than this EPIC decade spanning tournament that we have going on right now!

 

I'd be happy with either approach, but prefer Round Robin, otherwise I faced Lukus in first round and then never got to play inferno!!!

then bye to end off so I can rest and work through any niggling injuries before the money rounds!!!

You can do that but it won't be recognized ranking-wise.

No and still ain't. FFA don't work for a tournament. Name me one tournament that used a ffa successfully and I might take a look into it.

I think you misunderstood - the 2on2 and FFA would be post tourney.

 

But considering how long we take with the rourney any 2on2 would be considered unranked games for sure.

Eh, I'm up for a FFA at any time! As long as no one gangs up on me. I hate that about FFAs sometimes, you launch one attack and then everyone is attacking you.

And no Brutal Comps either, last time me and Gben did that, I had a bad experience.

Luk3us when you to 6 players, I think the logistics of getting us all together at the same time is going to be just a *bit* difficult!

But more the merrier otherwise. I was thinking maybe we could do regional comps... Aust v NZ ... ANZACS v USA.... South v North Hemispheres etc.

It would only be 4 people at a time, as in a 2v2. As for a FFA, I think 4 would be better than 6, but eh.

 

Also, I demand a rematch!

I was thinking that perhaps this weekend should be the deadline for Alphabear's matchup? And if he can't make - declare it as a forfeit and move on.
