Real Life Tesla Coil

Spotted this at the CNC Den. A dedicated C&C fan or someone who is taking things to far? You decide. Anyway, Peter Terren from Telsa Down Under thought it would be a good idea to construct a real life 100% working Tesla Coil in his backyard.

 

 

There is nothing fake or photo-shopped about the photo above. You can read all about how it was made and how the special effects were achieved by clicking here. I think this way cooler than the Temple of Nod case mod.

sure they can build a replica of it, but its still fake, you can use special effects to do this(note it doesnt make it real, they do it in movies..)

why say it isnt fake when it is? they are such hypocrites..

it isnt real... its not even close to a tesla coil, plus the government wouldnt accept this anyway... nerds....lol my nephew can put REAL looking lighting strikes on pictures, isnt that hard.

Seriously, why do you have to put EVERYTHING down? I don't mean to focus attention directly on you, but you seem to act like nothing is good enough for you, EVER. You say you're surprised anyone would bother doing ANYTHING, you don't seem to care at all about what people attempt, you just say anybody could do it, you say it's not all that beneficial in general.

 

Honestly, is there any reason you have for putting everything down? Not EVERYBODY could do this. This specific guy had to have the time, the resources, and most definitely the money to pay for this project.

 

I mean, hell, even if it was fake, just for the sake of it, you still don't even take it for the value that it does have.

What the hell are you talking about? Other than the fake people which are obviously fake for logical reasons, the tesla coil itself is completely real. All this is doing is modifying a tesla coil to look like one from red alert. How is that fake?

sure its sorta "cool" looking, but they cant completely duplicate it, so No its not 100% "real" because the creators who made up that device didnt go into scientific detail on how it works and how it totaly does what it does. these guys just did it from scratch which still isnt 100% real O.o

 

ever good for me? its funny you dont know me or even know what i think, so go ahead. plus reason i put this down was because it was rather a dumb and very time consuming project... sure it can be cool for looks but they cant actualy replicate 100% because the fact it never came with plans....

OK, I'm going to be honest. You're really starting to anger me. You're calling this a dumb project, and you're saying it's not real.

 

You're basically saying that all the work was done for nothing.

 

You're also saying that this project was not "real" because they purely did not document what they built? Seriously. What the hell.

 

You really need to actually accept things for what they are, and not put everything down. It's really discouraging. Now, I could understand this every now and then, but the fact that you've been doing it for pretty much every news post, all my lego videos, and even something as elaborate and intriguing as this, is just complete and utter bull****.
