There wasn't much new information, aside from the maps. Which look to be better than the 2v2 maps that came with TW. And then you had the matches and such.

For the Xbox. And man, these maps were promising, but bore me!

 

Interviews were deseprately short, but im very happy about adding these two actors, theyre personable, smart, and have personality, which hopefully comes through in the game.

 

No hovering over water. Meh. They could have answered more questions.

 

And how is a harvester with a shield a sneak peek?

 

Meh. I waited until half two am to see this, and woke up now at half ten, and i have to say: Most disappointing BCPT episode ever!

Man, some of you guys need change your attitudes when following the development of a game. I see the same trends that plagued the lead up to the C&C 3 release starting all over again for Kane's Wrath. Everyone wants to know everything and then they get all unhappy when EA don't cough up the info. Nothing is good enough, they don't like this or overall it sucks.

 

BCPT 4 was a good show, I found everything except the feature multiplayer match up interesting so I skipped past that.

 

Getting all worked up over the game only leads to arguing and bickering, kind of like what the horde do on the Official C&C 3 forums. Try the laid back and take what you get approach (like me). Info on Kane's Wrath will come. There's a still good 3 months before its released.

It seems as if you wouldnt know me. I am Hagren, defender of CnC3 There just wasnt anything that surprised me with the show, and i waited so long for it that i turned out disappointed, besides, i dont see why hovercrafts shouldnt hover water.

 

On the other hand, releasing ALL info as they just announced is surely not the way to go and there i agree with you. But they should keep up with the pace of the last updates, thats all im asking for.

 

Release info often, but always little.

I still haven't seen any of the battlecast videos of any kind anyway because im trying to avoid as much prior knowledge and hype as possible. Most of the details you will find out anyway once they are posted on the fan sites so i dont see why people get worked up about these releases.

True, but I was still dissapointed with the lack of info in this ep. It had some cool background info for the characters and actor interviews are always interesting, but there really wasn't that great amount of new game info.

 

I think the problem was the extra match (the battlecast 5 plus the Kane challenge plus the BC5 finalists). I just think they should have skipped the finalist match and stuck with the Kane match.

 

I think also the actual gameplay is too short, it really feels too much like a soundbite, and you don't get to feel the ebb & flow of the match. It just needs more/better narrative and a better in-game story.

 

They could have tried to give us something new in the ep to ponder, something new. I see from the other news posts that there is actually lots of info released to discuss, I just wished we had seen more in the BCPT.

 

(Although wasn't aftermath the show that claimed to be the #1 source of KW info?)

Imho, they should just have splitted the subfaction info between this and the next episode.
