Roundtable Discussion #3 is Now Available

The third edition of the CNCNZ.com Roundtable Discussion feature is now online, and it's our biggest one ever. After Roundtable #2, which was a special one marking the 10th year of CNCNZ.com, Roundtable #3 returns to the format introduced in the first Roundtable feature back in October.

 

For this one we discuss some of the latest topics on the C&C community like the Kane's Wrath Sub Factions, Kane's Wrath Actors, that so called C&C FPS Footage, BattleCast Primetime and EA's Modding Support. Our panel consist of myself and Zee Hypnotist from the CNCNZ.com staff, along with Lion (CNC Den), Mastermind (Revora), Koen (TibEd), Mighty BOB! (CNC Source, Blbpaws (CNC Generals World) and JohnWE (CNC-Files).

 

As I said before this our biggest Roundtable Discussion feature ever. And is probably the best one since we started them. The questions are different, the answers are varied and all offering different opinions. Click here to read Roundtable Discussion #3.

Nice roundtable here. The questions were better this time (compared to the first one, since the second one was about CNCNZ only) and it's nice to see a variety of new people answering them, although the mod support one was quite biased for MM, as he said .

 

Anyway, if you need me again in any future edition, I'll gladly participate from it. Also, I suggest you to make a new special edition of the roundtable with some of the people invited to the KW Community Summit to the day the NDA expires.

The questions and the number of them are determined by what's happening with the current news. As for modding related questions. I find those the hardest to include. I want to see them in the Roundtable but I honestly don't know what I should be asking.

 

I invited Mastermind before I knew about his interview on the C&C 3 site.

 

I suggest you to make a new special edition of the roundtable with some of the people invited to the KW Community Summit to the day the NDA expires.

That's a good idea, but it would mean I will most likely have to get in contact with a group of people that I'd care not to. But I'll keep it mind.

Considering this group only brought one person for the summit, I don't think you'll really need to care about it. Take a look at the others who were invited. Zee Hypnotist, Ghorkov (PlanetCnC), JohnWE (CnC Files) and Nukewave (CnC Vision) already make a good group.

 

 

Edit: According to Aaron Kaufman, there was a big group of 25 people invited to the event. Hypnotist will certainly get the list of people, so there might be a good amount of people worth inviting for a roundtable discussion.

Well the roundtable based around the community summit is a great idea if you call pull it off.

 

More modding questions would be nice - I guess it's a matter of making the question/topic/conversation starter not get bogged down by too much technical jargon.

 

Maybe you could just pick the mod of the month and get feedback from your participants.

 

Like your board-room Sonic - just needs some empty food and drink packets strewn around though!
