They already said over at Petroglyph that the RA universe (including RA2) were connected with the Tiberian Universe. However as EA owns the rights they can take the story in any direction they wish.

That's right, which is precisely why we should accept the fact that all the series aren't related ever since EA Games took over Westwood. APOC (EA Staff) has mentioned that there's no way these games will be linked. What we could hope for is Petroglyph buys over EA Games... but that's totally impossible (ridiculous too).

EA Games is extremely powerful in the gaming industry. Next time you know it, Blizzard will be bought over by them.

Not for quite some time. I think they're more into the Tiberian franchise at the moment.
