The console themselves are afforfable but the price of a new release game for a PS2 or XBox is a total rip-off

Here in New Zealand a new release PS2 or XBox game costs $129.95, while the cost of a new release PC game is much cheaper at $89.95.

I must admit that I've been thinking about buying an Xbox though...I watch the Halo 2 trailer Again the prices of the games annoy me.

PS1 emulators are available and the games are very playable (higher resolution than the PS1 as well).

the pc red alert was a bit better because it could be played online and modded other wise there was no differences between them
