Where did the viceroids go?

Hi, What happened between TS and TW to make all the viceroids, tiberium feinds, veinholes and tiberium floaters go away or die off?

They're in the red zones. So maybe (hopefully) they will appear in Kane's Wrath.

Those are different veins, however (Underground).

Maybe it's becouse all the gloomy weather has gone in C&C3 and the veins dislieked the sun and went undaground :?

These veins are more green tiberium-like, rather than the all-but infantry/light vehs consuming orange veins.
