For some reason this reminds me more of the old Kane before TW which is promising. Im not sure if it is just me or not but it did seem that he changed who he was talking to a few times there though

I asked John (CnCfiles) wheter KW Kane is similar to that (Since i got this "Different Kane" vibe as well), and he said (and i paraphrase): Somewhat. He just doesnt say anything about mobiles :lol:

I agree here. I think the difference between joe then and now is that back then when he was directing his own stuff, he had a passion, and he lived and breathed his role as Kane.

 

After the long break, and EA's change of stance on the franchise, he's lost a lot of what made Kane. Kane needs to be more evil, and forget 9/11, Nod has always been a Quasi-Terrorist group.

 

Kane needs that evil bastard streak he once had. He needs to start killing people with his own bare hands! That's what made people like him... Not have some lowly bodyguard kill his Generals... I found that pathetic!

Hes still enthusiastic, but they tried to make him more human, imho, not just a typical badass (And imho, his plan in CnC3 was awsome enough ). I am going to be happy though if they keep him as he was back in 1999 in the first act of KW.
