Cool. It doesn't show much we don't already know, but it does kinda make me enthousiastic for TIBERIUM!

"Old" EVA?

What's if she's offended by that? :D

Anyway, pretty cool. Wish it would show more than just a basic cinematic though...

P.S. Now we know what Richardo Vega looks like

I was surprised how story-driven they make the game out to be. And we can have tons of CGI movies now in a CnC game again?

Sound and art direction is flawless.

Did you notice the tiberium-mutated crabs? :P

Yeah. But then again, they could also be mutated insects or something...

We need CGI's! That's probably one of the points why renegade SP failed.

They are crabs. That desert was a sea once. Didn't you notice the ships?

BTW, doesn't the EA logo in the puddle at the very beginning remind you of the Renegade intro?

The trailer is some impressive marketing, I will say that... Should get you C&C fans pumped. It's gotta convince the ex-C&C fans though. Us Petro fanboys don't budge easy.

While this game will surely be a success in areas. I'm looking at several key areas that might be of concern.

  • - EALA have to understand that the FPS market is different. A truly great FPS will need a good storyline if it is to be remembered as more than just a community loved game.

[*] Squad Control - This could so fall flat on it's face and die. While I'm sure they'll believe it's going to work. If the AI does not respond to actions in a SP environment. Tiberium can kiss it's ass goodbye.

[*] Epic Sci-Fi - Big bold statements... again. Yes we all know that the reviewers will kiss EA's ass and say it will be... But you don't wanna be making statements. Even Crysis wasn't Epic Sci-fi and that was the best FPS of 2007 in my opinion. The original Half Life on the other hand, that's Epic Sci-fi... and nothing has come close to it still.

But yeah, good trailer. We'll just see if the game can be any better than the hype it's now created.
